NBC: Obama picks Panetta for CIA director
www.msnbc.msn.com
NBC News has confirmed that President-elect Barack Obama has chosen former Clinton White House chief of staff Leon Panetta to run the CIA.
Panetta was a surprise pick for the post, with no experience in the intelligence world. An Obama transition official and another Democrat disclosed
his nomination on a condition of anonymity since it was not yet public.
Panetta was director of the Office of Management and Budget and a longtime congressman from California. (visit the link for the full news

So , does anyone have any suggestions , whether this is good or bad? Who is this guy and is he a safe guy to put in charge of the C.I.A.? This is just
breaking on MSNBC so I have not had time to research this guy. I hope he's good and not evil. Another one from the Clinton's. But if you think about
it most democrat appointees are going to have some connection to the Clintons.

HOLY COW!!!! Panetta is the one that said he was in the bunker with Cheney on 911 and heard the soldier come in over and over telling Cheney how far
out the pentagon plane was and that Cheney did not stop it..
Leading to the many conspiracy theories of 911 is the bunker and who was running the show and I will be darned if the man who saw it from the inside
isn't the one that gets to head the CIA now, the group most likely responsible for 911 if any of the conspiracies are right, that is...

We're getting the 'same people'....lol
Yes We Can, get another Clinton term.

Wow ! Your right. I just checked it and Leon was supposed to have said Cheney was there at a certain time and that throws off Cheney's time line and
proves that he was lying, allegedly.

How exactly is he qualified to be the director of the CIA? His bio doesn't really have anything that stands out in the intelligence field.

Do Obama supporters really feel there will be change or will they merely copy the Bill Clinton blueprint of the 90's?

Yeah, what does anyone expect? The man making the selection was one of the more underqualified presidential candidates in memory. Congratulations,
America...just remember, he's the one that you wanted.

Dont be silly of course there will be change....a change back in time to the 90's. I really am getting a sinking feeling in my gut for the years
ahead.

Panetta, like Bush Sr., came out of nowhere to head the CIA.
I highly doubt Panetta has no prior CIA connections. .
I found this article slightly interesting:
Since 1992 I have taken an interested in the JFK Assassination and have devoted 14 years and over 200,000 dollars as a Federal Whistleblower to
bring out the truth. Mr. Leon Panetta who praised Gates in James Sterngold's article has also supported my research in 1992-93 as a Congressman
for Monterey Bay in which I suggested that George H.W. Bush was involved as was Vice-President Lyndon Baines Johnson in the assassination of President
Kennedy. Today Panetta surrounds himself around CIA agencies in the Monterey Bay such as the Defense Language Institute. Was it the CIA who
granted him his own Institute and is this why he sits on committees with CIA Directors ? Once a CIA agent or Director always an agent.
Panetta knew this and is presently working with Gates, who worked with Lyndon Johnson during the 1960s. I have letters from Lyndon Baines Johnson
writing to and receiving letters from CIA agent George de Mohrenschildt (Lee Harvey Oswald's closest friend) seven months before Kennedy's death.
Mr. Panetta has seen these letters as well as the one in which Mr. George H.W. Bush admits knowing Lee Harvey Oswald's closest friend since 1942.
How can Panetta denounce Bush Sr. in 1992 and then do an about face, to praise Bush Sr.'s CIA director 1991-92 ? It was our current President's
grandfather Prescott Bush's banking firm Brown Brothers & Harriman who approved a $300,000 line of credit to Oswald's closest friend, de
Mohrenschildt (a CIA agent) six months before the assassination. Prescott Bush and Lyndon Baines Johnson were working together across the aisle from
each other in the Senate, when, like Nancy Pelosi was the Senate Majority Leader for the Senate. The Democrats nor the Republicans do not want to
touch on the subject of their involvement in Kennedy's assassination.
(Author's note: Lyndon Johnson's son-in-law sat on the Baker-Hamilton Iraq Report Committee in 2006.

I wonder if there are other sources for this information? What do you think?

Well what do you expect. Obama is only qualified to tie his shoe, so he needs a plethora of oldies and has bens to run the country. Or do the
Hitlarys have something on Obama? Hmmmm. lol
Now with this guy Panetta. Hmmmm. Yeah, lets hire a guy for our Intelligence department who has ZERO experience. Maybe he has watched enough James
Bond movies

WTF!! Barry is on a roll.
What more can be said that hasn't already been covered regarding all of the other Clinton reassignments to the new/old regime.
I think mullets were still in fashion for part of the Clinton 90's. I think I'll start letting my hair grow out so I will be prepared for what lies
ahead. Perhaps Barry will have a position for Roger Clinton Jr. Has he appointed a Drug Czar yet?

No worries....Panetta is intensely studying his "CIA for Dummies" copy.
He like Obama will be guided from behind the big red velvet curtain.
