Wow, interesting point of view. Historically, the Jews did not abandon the property, and they did not take it over again, hence your argument is
baseless.
Next, consider yourself in the Israeli position. For weeks, some people have been lobbing missiles on your neighborhood. Whatcha gonna do? Keep
watching while more innocents are being killed, or defend yourself? I vote for defend yourself.
Palestinians were given the Gaza by Israel. Israel won the 6 day war and obtained the Gaza and property all the way to Egypt. They relinquished much
of that land later, but retained the Gaza. Later, they gave up the Gaza strip as a sign of good faith and wanting peace with the Palestinians. The
public news has recordings after that event showing Arafat never intended for peace with Israel, no matter what they did, unless they gave up all the
land of Israel.
Historically, the land of Israel was not seized, it was bought. The plan for repatriation of Israel to its lands was formulated in the 19th century,
and enacted by the United Nations in the 20th century. The primary agent in this plan for restoring Israel was Britain, as they had commonwealth
properties in the area. So blame it on the British for trying to settle and pacify the middle east area called Palestine.
Ironically, these people are brothers. Until they see that, there will be war.
Hamas will never relent, and Israel will never allow their own destruction.
If you want peace, convince them they should have love for each other. Start with the children, win their minds. Put them together in schools and
activities. Build a bridge. It will take many generations.
Simply put, you can't blame Israel for defending itself against the latest attacks.
