Great...now he'll be a christian mercenary! That should make ya'll happy!
Party on.
So if Bush and Hitler did the same you would forgive them just like *snap* that?
This is a conspiracy website, everyone has the right to be suspicious.
You wanna know something? These "terrorist" organizations are heroes in the Middle East. This guy would be considered as a traitor by the Muslims.

Just like Muhammad, who convinced the whole arab population of a false abrahamic god.

He's converted to Christianity, ergo he's not likely to give an unbiased assessment of the situation within Hamas. Also, come on guys, this is on Fox News, hardly a wonderful source of information is it?
I think we know that Hamas isn't the most brilliant of parties in the world, but they were democratically elected and it doesn't excuse the fact that another democratically elected government is attempting to remove them, despite what Hamas is up to.

I am far from perfect. And forgiveness is something I struggle with. So is loving my enemy. However, this young man is trying his hardest to live this way NOW (as we ALL should) = completely opposite to how he was raised. And you FAULT him for that. That is absolutely crazy IMO.
He is considered a traitor. In fact, there is a target on his life. They want him DEAD. Because to them, converting to another religion is a big no-no.
He did not convert overnight. If you would have paid attention and listened to him, it took time and he was having "2nd thoughts" of how he was being raised for very long, while he was being raised. He weighed both "religions" and put a Bible and Koran next to each other and studied both and decided which one was best for him.
He is filled with love and peace and compassion, rather then hate and murder and revenge. Isn't this GOOD?! He is calling for PEACE & LOVE & FORGIVENESS !! Isn’t this GOOD? He is not calling for the destruction of anyone or any religion. Isn’t this GOOD?
And I never said you have no right to be suspicious. You do. But before you speak out against him, maybe you should read and listen to what this very well balanced young man has to say. He lived a life that neither you nor I ever did. If anyone knows anything on this topic, it is him. Deny Ignoranceand embrace what he is trying to tell the world.
Unless you can find a way to debunk him and his message? If so, I will most certainly read it and take it all in, just like I do everything. If you are suspicious, then please debunk it and show us how he is a liar and how Fox has distorted the truth.
'My Taliban son was a sweet kid, not a traitor'
The father of the American captured with Taliban fighters said his son was not a traitor but a "very sweet kid" who was the victim of his own bad judgement.

"He's really not much more than a boy," he said. "We want to give him a big hug. I also want to give him maybe a little kick in the butt for not telling me what he was up to and for not getting my permission, because I would not have given him permission to go to Afghanistan."
The US Defence Secretary, Donald Rumsfeld, said that Mr Walker was in custody of US special forces near Mazar-i-Sharif and that his fate had not yet been decided.
