Well, if you're rich, hip, and part of the Hollywood never-never land, it's just cool to be a Scientologist.
Sounds better than Southern Baptist.

Have you people not heard of Christian Scientist before they are anti-drug and pro the power of prayer for healing ills.

The loss of a child no matter the reason is devestating, and the loss of Jett by the Travoltas has my sympathy and my prayers. That said it is pretty
much common knowledge that John Travolta is a major recruiter in the hollywood community for the Scientology Cult. He has been a member far longer
than most in that community!

My sympathies go out to John Travolta and his wife, too. Maybe if their eyes will be opened up to how Scientology is and always will be because of
their son Jetts death, then maybe some good will come out of this tragedy. Maybe it will be that wakeup call that they need, and that people like Tom
Cruise, Lisa Marie Presley, and the other Hollywood/entertainment crowd who are adherents of Scientology will need to finally wake up.

Christian Scientists are not the only ones who are anti-drug and utilize prayer. Methodists, Baptists, Lutherans, Seventh Day Adventists, Holy
Rollers, and just about every other Christian group you can think of.
But most also use doctors. What is the saying, "God helps those who help themselves.
It's sad this kid didn't make it, but it isn't like the Travoltas couldn't afford the best of treatments.

It is very sad that Jett died at such a young age. Any death is tragic, but when a parent has to burry their child, it is doubly so. I just wonder how
things might have been if instead of hiring nannies and vacuuming the carpet, if they had instead spent the money on professional therapists who had
experience with Autistic children. Ignoring his Autism certainly did not make his life any better.
And Yes, Christian Scientists are not the only religion that believes in the power of prayer instead of the science of medicine. Scientologists, not
to be confused with Christian Scientists, believe that they are Alien Ghosts, (Thetans to be exact,) and that things like Autism do not exist. They
also believe that if you reach level OT-8 in the Cult, that you can fly.
I wonder if Tom Cruise can fly yet? So far, I have only seen him get slightly airborn when jumping on a couch.

I saw Tom Cruise jumping up and down on a couch on the Oprah show, and wasn't paying much attention.
Maybe he was trying for liftoff?

This is a very sad event - the death of an innocent child.
However, I feel very sad for the life he may have had to lead, if his parents were not giving him the treatment he needed due to THEIR belief in a
scam.
I hope that a real autopsy is done and no one is paid off (after all money can buy you almost anything).
I also hope that the legit autopsy shows that this truly was an accident and was not a result of medical neglect. If they neglected his health then
they should be held accountable. But they wont.

I was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease when I was four years old, but I am ok now. I don't think that Kawasaki disease had to do anything with
Travolta's son's death. As an another poster said, it is extremely rare for it to reappear and again seldom do any life-threatening complications
result from this disease.

Maybe Jett's THETAN got in one of John's jets and flew away??

I would just like to say that my son is autistic and there is no cure for autisim. Autisim makes you who you are and is not a disease just a way of
being. It's up to everyone else to accept them as they are. I also can say that autism does not kill and therefore it should have no bearing on the
discussion of Jetts tragic death.

This is so sad
I believe this was this child's first seizure. Travolta could not have known the child was going to have one.
It was a fluke.
Kawasakis, or autism would not have been the culprit, (odds are).
I am truly sorry for the family, whatever the religion.

Anyone who has dealt with autistic children knows the reality. You do your best, in Travolta's case have round the clock supervison for the child.
But it's impossible to be beside a patient every minute and you get lulled into a false sense of security after many years.
But a simple trip to the bathroom or in the shower can prove dangerous for a child without full awareness, reflexes, and co-ordination. Even a normal
kid can have accidents, but with an autistic one the risk is multiplied a thousand fold.
Looks like the kid had a fatal accident. A terrible thing for any parent. But it could have happened with a bicycle, sports, anything.
An American actor none of us know had a death in his family. None of our business and shouldn't be our concern.

Well the Travolta's have denied him being autistic. So we really dont know what was going on with him....thus why we have to wait for the autopsy
reports.

It is not the first seizure for the child:
Following the incident, Jett Travolta, who Ossi said "had a history of seizures," was taken to Rand Memorial Hospital in the Bahamas.

Autopsy is scheduled for Monday
A Restview Mortuary source told Access on Saturday that the autopsy is scheduled for Monday, and the body will be brought to the Bahamian mortuary
later that day. According to the source, the family wants Jett's body shipped back.

Actually, Anonymous encourages education on the subject of Scientology, and linking to their various web pages is part of that. What Anonymous does
not talk about, is individual members.
As far as other comments made here;
Autism indeed does not have a cure, and does not in and of itself cause death. I do wonder, how much progress Jett might have made, had he been
provided with the proper therapy he should have had. Autism is indeed difficult, but a professional therapist trained in Autism is far better than
nannies and handlers.
Sadly, John and Kelly continued to insist that there is no such thing as Autism and that Jett was suffering from the effects of Kawasaki disease. As
was correctly pointed out earlier, Jett was treated for Kawasaki when he was a child, and was a survivor. His problems were much deeper than that. In
addition, I doubt that the autopsy will focus at all on Jetts problems, but will instead simply show how a fall caused the trauma to his head which
resulted in his death.
It is simply sad that Jett Travolta was not provided with proper care for his autism simply because his parents believed in the lies of a dangerous
cult. Perhaps, had he been provided with proper care, he might haver made more progress in interacting with others, to his great enrichment.
My heart goes out to John and Kelly, and I hope that somewhere in all of the tragedy, they will find a way out of the cult and into a more rational
world.

I'm sorry...
But without any knowledge of the incident(none of which has been revealed..)I do not see how you can link scientology to this childs tragic
death....
If I am an athiest and get hit by a bus, would it be argued that my lack of spirituality contributed to my death..??
Or that had the Travoltas' been Christians this wouldnt have happened...?
I find it unfortunate that you appear to be using a childs tragic misfortune to have a go at Scientology...
As wacky as Scientology may be( and i agree, it does seem a "pretty out there.." belief system), your connection between Jett's death(named after
his Fathers love of flying...)and his parents chosen beliefs is, at the very least, a bit of a stretch mate....
Death from seizures and its resultant traumas are, sadly, commonplace....and know no religious\cultural/belief system boundaries.
