For use in archaeology?

After studying and reviewing the e-CORCE1 project for 2 years, CNES has delivered its verdict: it will be possible by 2014 to photograph all of the continents in colour at a resolution of 1 metre, every week

This will be an excellent tool for archaeological survey work as an area can be looked at after storms and earthquakes may have exposed something. It will also allow monitoring of looting.

A few Arab governments I know will be upset by this new technology. Some western ones too.
