"They" wanted a power who would oppose their oppression, That doesn't mean "they" should be killed for wanting freedom and a higher quality of life.

I'll tell you exactly what would work. Instead of Israel trying to snipe-bomb these Hamas turds, the trick is to bring them to you.

Israeli forces should go in, take a mosque, and simply taunt.

Oh, just a suggestion. Perhaps a thought, but mabey Isreal will stop hitting the safe havens of and all the hatters of Isreal who lob shells into schools, hospitals, homes and apartments? i think you misunderstood (i thought some people might)....the most graphic pictures are from the Israeli strikes on gaza....these are followed by the "carnage" that the qassam rockets cause (ie, none)...its a great juxtaposition for those who claim that Isrealis are justified in their attacks.

i watched the videos you posted. I agree, they really do show the difference in power. I admit i never really knew what a qassam rocket was, and to see them and to see them in action...wow...they are very small.
The thing i don't get (and someone else pointed this out elsewhere) is that we (me and you and people like me and you), can criticise Hamas AND also criticise the Israelis for their disproportionate response. But those pro-Israelis cannot, ever, it seems, see that they could be wrong in this.

Well your are right, in that Israel is the "good son" and can do no wrong as the world sees Hamas as terrorists, due to the MSM and the common belief that they attack Israel unnprovoked. As the videos clearly show and as you had mentioned previously the response is clearly diproportionate. Hamas Qassam rockets are crude and unreliable and no match for the billion dollar, U.S funded military of Israel.

No one wants to mention it here because it conflicts with simple pro-Israel and anti-Israel rhetoric.

Not a secret - Iran has been funding and supplying Hamas with money and weapons specifically to engage in a third party war with Western interests, just as they have done in Iraq. They believe they will polarize Muslim sentiment in their favour by the systematic break down of Israel's morale and economy.

Israel my be responding to Hamas in Gaza, but this is an Iran vs. the West confrontation.

The Sunni Muslim courtiers, particularly Egypt and Saudi Arabia watch quietly on the sidelines feigning outrage and indignation at Zionist aggression, but quietly cheering on the Israelis hoping that once and for all Iran will get the message that there are more pressing issues in the Middle East beyond an Iran directed Islamic Revolution.
