Sure because the rest of the intouch "smart" people, such as yourself, of this country watch the always trusted CNN and MSNBC...or some other MSM
outlet that lies and sways people just as bad as FOX.
Actually my friend, it's been quite some time since I've watched anything issued by MSM news outlets.
CNN, it's been probably 4 years since I've checked them as a source. Last time was during a debate, and even that I didn't trust.
MSNBC, about 6.
So no, people such as myself don't check MSM news sources for our information.
We'll watch segments posted by others linking to them, as a half hearted attempt to find humor, but we typically won't trust anything they say.
As of current times, almost every western news outlet is biased in some way shape or form. They are either pro Republican, pro Democrat, or simply pro
America. They won't show anything that could be considered a mistake by the party they support, and they certainly wont show anything that could be
considered a mistake by America.
BBC has the same problems, only trust them if it has NOTHING to do with Britain or it's allies. (Very seldom).
Russia Today is only good so long as it has nothing to do with Russia.
CBC is only good for Canadian politics... on the world spectrum, they're rather uninformed.
Al-Jazeera is pretty good for world news, so long as it has nothing to do with the middle east.
Reuters is good, so long as it has nothing to do with NATO countries.
Each news source has it's problems... the free independent news agencies are pretty good at showing all sides... but their coverage is pretty bad.
So no, I don't trust news sources as you might believe. I check many sources before believing anything.
I ALLWAYS want to see all sides, whether I agree with them or not.
I find it very hard in todays age to trust anyone, let alone a news agency that has to pander to one organization or another in order to get it's
income.

words and symbols remain but their meaning change. Try wearing a swatiska and explain to the cops its history.
Anyways anybody remembers the 70s film "Boss -Nword-"? It wasnt racist actually the charismatic hero is black and its a damn fine comedy
www.youtube.com...
Sad that racism is still rampant and people trying to disguise it as jokes is disgusting.

I am almost positive that this was not a slip. They have people send in text messages to be displayed on TV and they let one slip. In my mind there
would be so many people sending in text that they would have to pick which ones they were going to run and you know what that means...

Using negro in that way is quite inflammatory and is unbecoming of a supposedly impartial news network.
However, I use this term in quite an informal manner with my black friends, because I'm not allowed to use the N word like they can. Or black whale.

I don't get it, that's just one viewers comment.
Are we now suppose to censor what people have to say?
At least even Fox is slightly optimistic with "hope", better than saying he "won't" do a good job.
..but isn't that why he got elected in the first place, so we can see if he does do a good job.

The term "Magic Negro"was coined in an article by David Ehrenstein on March 19,2007 in the liberal rag the L.A.Times.....The song "Barak the Magic
Negro"wasn't an attack on Obama....it was used to show how envious Sharpton was....

That has to be about the silliest comment I've read. Using logic, you would have realized that all 301 million cannot vote. According to Nov. 2007
numbers ( www.census.gov...), 73.9 million are under 18 and cannot vote.
So using your numbers, if 136 million of the 227 million eligible voted, that works out to nearly 60%. Sadly, still a relatively low number, but
actually quite high compared to most recent US elections.

And to anyone arguing the point that "negro" isn't racist, and just means black.....You're retarded. Of course it means black. That isn't the
issue. In the south, people say negro in place of 'n-word', because saying 'n-word' is pretty much universally condemned. But they will still say
things like "stupid negro", or if someone is intelligent, they will say things like "He's smart.....for a negro." And everyone has a good laugh
about it.
Just because you've found divine insight, and no longer see boundaries between color doesn't mean that the rest of the world has grown tall enough
to join you on that high pedestal you find yourself preaching from.
Negro is offensive, and it is a word meant by the majority of the people who use it to be a cutting remark for african americans.
And anyone who defends that horrible song should be lynched.

I contend that if we were able to wipe out all memories of slavery, that there would still be discrimination among different races of people. There is
even discrimination between whites and whites, blacks and other blacks today. So what make discrimination between ______ and blacks so horrible?
The fact that it can be labeled as racist. And used as a guilt-inducer.
Discrimination is a fact of life, a survival mechanism. It happens throughout the animal kingdom.
Would it have made any difference if the ticker tape had said "Good luck to Obama, the Magic Black Man"? Not to those oversensitive ones here trying
to appear so "enlightened", it wouldn't. We're not allowed to mention Obamas' race. It's not PC, dontcha know...

Yes it does have a positive effect: the more it is used, the more it will desensitize people to it's effects. After a while, it will lose it's
offensiveness.

That isn't positive. That's ridiculous. Why use it at all?
It is intended as a derogatory remark. Come on - we all know that - don't we?
It's like being in first grade. Can we please get out of first grade?!

Looks like all of the Obama supporters have finished their daily prayers to the Messiah to bash the satanic FOX News!
Seriously, in the times we face people think one little remark FOX News showed about Obama is a big deal? Give me a break.
