Oh my. That picture gave me a shudder. Ewww.
And that spider behind the clock!!!
I hate spiders. I'd probably crap my pants if I saw a spider that big, especially inside.

Big bugs get me on edge. I hate to kill spiders other big crawlers, I usually catch them, examine them, and let them go outside. I love the webs
spiders spin.

I'll touch anything that isn't a spider, an ear wig, or certain caterpillars. And that thing in the picture, whatever it is.

Yup guys...thats a camel spider..im in the military, and I just got back from the desert. Those things are crazy, not only are they really that big,
but they can run like 30 mph, and they scream at you when they are running. And I wouldnt say that they are harmless either, not that they can kill
you, but their venom is a numbing agent, so they can literally be eating you and you wouldnt even feel it...remember, always shake your boots out
before you put em on......

Holy Sweet Mary Mother Of God. Ok, I am outspoken, and pretty much an a-hole on ocasion. I am though, very afraid of spiders for whatever pansy

I can answer the question about the "Clock Spider", as that's what it's called where it came from. Someone on the forum called L.U.E. on
Gamefaqs.com, found it and took pictures. Theres actually a third picture of it, but the site I had is gone. Theres no getting to LUE anymore though
becuase it is a forum filled with teenagers crap basically, and the owner of Gamefaqs.com restricted anyone from viewing it except those using it at
the time. I know all this because I used to view LUE becasue it made me laugh, the general stupididty of the topics were just so funny.

Its two arachnids, not two insects. And they are Solpugids to be specific. One Solpugid is biting the other in the abdomen. People call them
"camel spiders," they are really a "Solpugids" - a large non-spider arachnid. The ones in the picture look to be exaggerated in size. It does
look like they have ten legs, though two of them are antennae.

This guy somehow thinks "camel spiders" are wind scorpions, lol.

This guy isn't sure of the identify of the types "camel spiders" in the United Arab Emirates.

There are many "camel spider" myths. So, most of what you will find on the net about them is BS. Just look for Solpugids on google to find out
more.
Here is some more good info on them:

Solpugids are found just about everywhere.

Its also possible that the Solpugids pictured have really grown to that freakish size; or it could just be the cameras perspective, making them look
bigger than they really are.

thor's spider looks to me like a harmless huntsman spider..
I could show you ones bigger than that in my kitchen... I love them cause they are nature's best cockroach exterminators....they hide during the
day.. I rarely see them out..... but damn they get huge.

Its not a huntsman, nor is it a spider. Nevertheless, it is an arachnid. The biggest clue that made me know it was not a spider was that it appears
to have ten legs - it only has eight, the other two are antennae. Check my posts above.

I wonder which one would win, a centipede (blue) or a solpugid. It would be interesting. I hate centipedes with a passion, if you've ever been bitten
by one, you'd understanding. The blue ones are poisonous, and when bitten, you start to trip out, and not the good kind of tripping out.

I suppose it depends on their relative size to one another.
