I have heard various rumors on the internet about Tactical Markings, also known as "Tacmars". Supposedly tacmars are reflective sticker arranged in
formations on signs. The purpose of the tacmars are for navigational purposes, so an army (the U.S.' or the U.N.'s) can find critical resources,
like hospitals, storage facilities, et cetera.
Here are some links describing the tacmars (more links are listed at the bottom of the TinWiki page):
tinwiki.org...
From what I've seen, very little photographic evidence exists to prove their existence.
Can someone please any more information or evidence so we can get to the bottom of this mystery?

From the OP's link:
The markers are reflective stickers that are put on the backs of highway and roadway signs
If the stickers are put on the backs of road signs, how are they meant to be read? unless Britain is planning to invade the colonies and need markings
that are visible as we drive on the left, so making the backs of signs visible

I'm quite sure that the backs of signs can be seen when traveling the opposite direction, while driving on the proper (right) side of the road.
You'd just look at the other (left) side of the road.
I'm sure someone could make use of IR cameras/lenses somehow with the reflective markers. ie: make them more noticeable in that wavelength.

I always thought that's what the mile markers were for. At least when I was in the military and doing med evac runs we always used mile markers to
get to bases that had incoming or taking patients there for out going flights.
Not to mention mile markers would be way faster and more effective than looking for invisible markings on the back of a sign. Heck every gravel road
in my area has mile markers on it right now.

I loved this phrase in the wiki cited above ( tinwiki.org...):
"The stickers are used to communicate tactical information to the UN army as it invades and conquers the US"
I think someone should redraft that... Unless it's a message?
Edited to add link.

Tacmars are placed on the backs of road signs so when driving look to your left and notice stickers on the back side.[/size] I have travelled to 47
states and have noticed these in many states especially North Carolina. They are highly reflective and lead to national guard armories, schools,
civic centers. etc. three arrow on the front of a sign indicate a facility and opposite pointing arrows indicate a helo landing zone. I am a 4 year
USMC veteran and have been studying the UN, FEMA, CAMPS, MICRO CHIPS, TACMARS for 15 years they do exist.
