The thing with Israel is that the Christians have a ton of countries, Hindu have their own countries, and of course Muslims have their own countries.
The Jews just have a little piece of land the size of New Jersey because after the Holocaust they didn't want to go back home, since home was usually
destroyed and because they were afraid. They don't want, or need, to be babied. They just want a little piece of land and they do have enough forces
of their own to defend it themselves if nobody supports them.

I am afraid you are very likely correct that exaggerations have been perpetuated and reinforced over the years. Propaganda is like a social drug.
Societies become 'fixated' or hooked on it. I'm afraid only now, some of us are starting to realize that we need to be much more considerate of
the past, for in some cases (hopefully not many) we have been misled, and finding the truth will take more of an effort than simply asking the
establishment or those entrenched in the righteousness of their beliefs.

So now it's not about race but rather religion? Palestine didn't belong to a religion, it belonged to a race of people. Here's a definition:
1. A local geographic or global human population distinguished as a more or less distinct group by genetically transmitted physical
characteristics.
2. A group of people united or classified together on the basis of common history, nationality, or geographic distribution: the German race.
By your logic, the Jews now have a country so we now need to give athiests a country too... why don't we just clear out Japan...? And how about
France for the Scientologists? Maybe the U.S for the Church of Satan...?
