So when is president aminutjob gonna make his big "announcement" to the world? They sure are talking all big and bad but why arent they around to help Hamas? I had to get rid of the details of the demos in the UK against the killing of the Gaza people. It seems to be seen as a form of recruitment.

it is not the time to act in any agressive way,the extremists in iran along with isreal are attempting to stoke up a costly war for us all,the right way to act is by enforcing the law upon those commiting the crimes.

if those responsible for the crimes on both side were held aco#able it would all stop immediatly,
yet for some reason the law is never enforced,nations can do pretty much whatever they want now without reprocussions!

the way forward is to strengthen and enforce internation law against those who break it,from bush,to kim jung il of n koreai
using national armies to prevent conflict as the isrealis are attempting is futile,totaly futile!

its time for any great leaders to stand up and be counted,like they used to,no more cosy deals with your ally,no more self interest and diplomatic non interfernce pacts as the us uk and isreal have,the time is now,and if our leaders dont do whats right we use our law,we keep voting them out!

For bloorg who said the us would lose because were not doing so great against the insurgents in iraq....wow. Way to ignore the fact that US forces basically have their hands tied behind their backs, to win the hearts of the Iraqi people. Since world war 2, no one has seen the US war machine truly at work. Everything now is meant to be as PC as possible, and were trying to minimize civilian casualties. Dont forget the fact that if the gloves were truly off, and we didnt have to worry about having to pay for rebuilding fallujah, or other places like that, we would have carpet bombed the place, and destroyed every building that we even thought we had unfriendlies residing in. Instead, we do house to house raids as to not completely destroy everything. I mean, we have B-2's, B-52's, and B-1's alone that would level entire population centers if we really had to.

However, back on topic, I think the arabs and Iran should act over the gaza attacks. They should be sitting at the tables, trying to get both sides to stop firing at each other, because all each side is doing is counterattacking against the opposite side's counterattack. Really they have to get hamas to stop launching rockets. Personally i think Israel is perfectly justified in launching the attacks that they are. They should be maybe a little more limited but they're protecting themselves. For those of you saying, well, its just not fair. How about someone launches rockets aimed at killing your family and see how you feel. See what would happen if the US started launching rockets at population centers in Russia, or China. You will probably see a very similar response. But instead of perpetuating the violence, people should accept the fact that its holy ground for about 3 different religions and stop bombing each other over it, and coexist. Stop bombing each other over dirt.

I understand that Israel is attacking a little too vigorously, but for what its worth in the case of the Israelis, they're in their eyes fighting for their survival. They have also let humanitarian aid get through. Its not like theyre going in and indiscriminantly destroying heavily populated places like markets. Theyre mostly going after security compounds. Hamas was launching rockets for a couple days before Israel started bombing. Also, Hamas launched I think like 300ish rockets per day. Its just the fact that the Israelis are launching them in a more effective manner that is making them so devastating. Give hamas equal capabilities and Im sure youd see many many more Israeli casualties.
