I am sorry, Israel rejected cease fire??? When exactly? Source? And if you speak about European suggestion for 48 hours of peace - Hamas agreed to it?
Truce was not renewed by ... Hamas. Rockets were fired all 6 months of truce. Three rockets a month is not truce. All Hamas got to do to get blockade lifted is to stop ALL fire (rockets,mortars,sniping) into Israeli territory and release one Israeli soldier. All this will end the mess and suffering.
Just to clarify - rockets/mortars were fired into Israeli territory before blockade on Gaza. Rockets/mortars were fired into Israeli territory even after Israel evacuated its settlers. So what exactly Israel should do to stop it? Or it is normal that Israeli civilians are shot at?
By the way - i know that losses and suffering on Palestinian side are much much higher. However firing rockets into Israel does not solve it, now does it? Situation in Gaza is a lot worse then when it was occupied by Israel. There is an easy way to stop this circle of violence.

I bet that if the Palestinians started rounding up the Hamas leaders and militants and locked them up somewhere, that Isreal would cease. Especially since then the rocket/millile attacks wouldnt be occuring anymore.

Well Israeljust killed onr the top Hamas leaders (along with 18 women and children I might add) so we'll see what happens.

I personally vote for the Palestinians taking control of their government and country and showing the world that they dont like the fact that Hamas is making them look bad.

Good point, but how would the people fight Hamas leadership? I mean form what I know they would'nt stand a chance.

My guess is that they would have to steal the weapons from Hamas and use them against Hamas. There must be some people there that are sick and tired of Hamas and will do anything to get rid of them...and when there is one....there is more than one.

Well as far as the stealing of the weapons goes, is it plauseable? yes possible? yes but realistic? no IMO the people are too conserned with the poverty and their current living conditions and they see Hamas as their "protector"

Except hamas won by near enough landslide in palestian with free and fair elections..So i very much doubt they are going to do that.
