Zionism means you believe the Jews have the right to exist. If you say you aren't a Zionist then you don't believe the Jews deserve too live. Edit
too add. Fine, you aren't a Zionist, you don't believe the Jews have the right to exist. Now, back on topic, EGYPT shot and killed Palestinian
civillians after sealing the border and refusing aid. EGYPT is responsible for the starving of the Palestinians.

so i don`t follow Theodor Herzl and his ideas for the born in 1896 zionist movement
Zionism is an international political movement that originally supported the reestablishment of a homeland for the Jewish People in Palestine
and continues primarily as support for the modern state of Israel.
so because i don`t believe in zionism or follow its ideals - i want all the jews exterminated?
and the planet your on is called what?

 Great diversion.
On topic, when Egypt was responsible for oppressing the palestinians, THEY were wrong TOO.
Can you see that it's not just about Israel? It's about oppression in general.

Egypt is being paid by the US to keep the borders sealed so they aren't seen as a force protecting Palestinians and ultimately Hamas. If Egypt were
forced into the conflict, it would break their truce with Israel and start another war.
In short, if Egypt allowed Palestinians in, Israel would start another war with them, and it would endanger the lives of Egyptian civilians.

have proof that US pays Egypt? The second Hamas was elected Egypt sealed the border. Why? Hamas is a bunch of animals that well, act like animals.
Egypt doesn't need their citizens blown up, or rockets fired at them.

US foreign aid
I agree the Egyptians need to take their share of the blame for the crisis unfolding in Gaza though, there is a lot more they could have done.

This thread is dangerously close to being off topic. People didn't accuse Russia of what Israel is doing now because Russia was helping the Georgians
escape. It was Georgia who went into the cities and murdered those people, and it was Russia who came to help the civilians escape. The media in the
West made Georgia seem like the hero, and yet every where else in the world, people were laughing at the US for believing it, while their media showed
Russia as the hero.
Sure it might not seem like a big deal, but if one side shoots a rocket and destroys YOUR home, and kills YOUR family, suddenly its a big
deal.
So if person A shoots a rocket into person B's family, because person B is taking over the town of person A, then shutting off the electricity of
person A's town, then the water supply, and then starving them to death, wouldn't you think person B is even a little liable?
You cant say "please stop it mister!" it just doesnt work.
It didn't work when Palestinians asked Israel to stop their border expansion in the numerous peace agreements, and it hasn't worked since.
In the end, its really really sad that its 2009 and humanity is still killing each other.
Very. What's even more sad is the groups that want the killings to occur so their prophecies can be fulfilled at the cost of other human life.

US also gave 558million dollars to Palestinians in 2008 alone. So... Oh and we gave money to well, just about every country on the planet. It
doesn't mean we are paying them too do any thing.

Yes. A simple Google search works every time.
The United States has provided Egypt with an annual average of over $2 billion
in economic and military foreign assistance since 1979. The Administration has
requested $1.3 billion in military aid for Egypt in FY2009
Both during consideration of P.L. 110-161 and after its passage, Egyptian
officials charged that certain Israeli officials were publicly supporting congressional efforts to condition U.S. aid to Egypt in order to compel
for more Egyptian cooperation in tightening control over the Gaza border. In a January 2008 interview, Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit
said that “Israel has succeeded in inciting the U.S. Congress, and not the U.S. Administration, by putting some sticks in the wheels of this
relationship.... Some people on the U.S. side adopted the Israeli position, and the U.S. aid program (to Egypt) came to be targeted.... We succeeded
in cutting Israel down to its real size as far as its talk about the tunnels is concerned.”

You just asked for proof that the US was paying Egypt. They are in fact the recipients of the second largest US aid contribution behind the Israelis.
I tend to look for a certain code in these aid packages from the West. When the money is used explicitly for weapons, it's probably not really
'aid'.

Well, let me rephrase, have proof they are paying Egypt to seal the border? They didn't do it until after Hamas was elected. So all those years of
us giving aid and they didn't seal the border... Was for what?

Last year, however, they succeeded in inserting a provision making military assistance conditional both on political reforms and on progress in
stopping Hamas's weapon smuggling into Gaza.
Source
Last week, both houses of U.S. Congress agreed to withhold 100 million dollars in financial assistance to Egypt following Israeli claims that
Egyptian authorities were failing to prevent weapons smuggling to the Gaza Strip. Cairo, for its part, denounced the decision, while local political
analysts saw the move as a heavy-handed pressure tactic on the part of Washington's pro-Israel lobby.

That's not sealing the border. That's stopping weapons from getting in. Where does that say the US told Egypt too block food and water?

Egypt haven't blocked food and water, they're allowing aid trucks in but no further than the Rafah terminal. The sources quoted along with the
sources provided by clay2 baraka show that the US 'aid' to Egypt comes with certain conditions regarding the border with Gaza and that the US has
some influence in that area.
Which tunnels do you think are used to smuggle food and fuel as well as weapons into Gaza?
Again, for the record, I hold Egypt entirely responsible for their conduct during this offensive.

OLD: An Egyptian border guard was killed Saturday in a gun accident while on patrol in the Sinai peninsula along the border with Israel, officials
said.
January, 2008 EL-ARISH, Egypt - Security guards at the breached border with Gaza fatally shot an African man and woman yesterday as they tried to
illegally cross from Egypt into the Palestinian territory, officials said.
December, 2008 (Reuters) An Egyptian border guard and a Palestinian youth were killed during border clashes between Hamas and Egyptian security forces
on Sunday in turmoil triggered by Israel’s assault on Gaza.
Guys, I see more in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn in one shift.
The Gangs, drug dealers and some Junior high school kids have better weapons as well. I say we do a nationwide "Gun buy back" program here in the
States, get the guns off the streets. We then airdrop the guns right on the Egyptian-Palestinian border and set up a Web-Cam.
This will pay back Egypt for spitting out Osama Bin Laden and that little incident I attended one September 11th!
