Pro Bowl Changes Date & Location

MIAMI (AP)—The Pro Bowl will be played one week before the Super Bowl in 2010 and both games will be staged in Dolphin Stadium, a person directly involved in the decision told The Associated Press on Monday.

This is a stupid idea, I think. Like this guy said, the NFL needs to make the Pro Bowl in to a skills competition. No one cares about the game, and moving it to a week before the Super Bowl won't help anything.

One of the comments on that blog is correct as well. This would mean that pro-bowlers on the Super Bowl teams would not be participating in the Pro Bowl.

I don't see how this helps anything. The whole thing needs to be completely re-done. A skills competition would be best. Forget the game.

This is the stupidest idea I have ever heard. What are/were they thinking?

A SuperBowl-bound team is going to let it's players risk injury one week before the big game?

If they want a filler type of venue, then consider a skills competition day.
