9 Words In 1 - Can You Solve The Puzzle?

Topic started on 30-12-2008 @ 12:45 PM by Dave Rabbit

What if this was the only question on the exam to pass high school English and earn your diploma. Would you graduate?

What nine letter word in the English language is still a word when each of
the nine letters is removed one by one?

Take a few minutes to try and come up with a nine letter word that fits
the bill, then watch the attached video... Well, just watch the video....cause
you're never going to figure it out!

I have read about this before or seen it on tv. Can't quite remember what the word was, but I will give it a try before watching the video.

You need to add in the original post that it's a common 9 letter word and that the letters do not have to be removed in order. I was coming up with all sorts of uncommon 9 letter words and thinking that the letters had to be removed in order from left to right.

Great find! I love this type of thing.
