An Iran backed Hamas does everything in it's power to provoke Israel into attacking them. Iran wants to become the champions of the Muslim world supporting resistance, but with an open checkbook not with their own people on the battle lines.

Hamas leaders particularly Fatah know one thing, the more their people are suffering the more support and guilt money flows in from the West. Billions have come to the Palestinians with little to show for it except tens of thousands of rockets and almost nothing filtering down to the people. The Palestinians demonstrably want to keep their war with the West otherwise they'll have to actual behave like a responsible leadership implementing agriculture, manufacturing, social services, etc.

Hamas does what they know best - smuggle in rockets, wring their hands in anguish and ramp up an international PR campaign where Gaza is a photo op for Western and Arab media showing how they're suffering.

Western liberals buy into this farce and both Iran and the Palestinian leadership rub their hands in glee. The rest of the Arab world know the score and distance themselves from the Palestinians who have relinquished any self repect by choosing hostile permanent victim status instead of self-sufficiency.

It's an opportunity to piss on Israel and the US that everyone absolves their consciences with.

Hamas sends in homicide bombers to MURDER innocent civilians.

Israel is patient and does nothing ... but then when they do react in a defensive manner they have to go after Hamas which hides behind civilians and sets up their military in civilian structures.

To answer your question 'Why isn't Israel charged for war crimes?' the answer is ... because they are responding DEFENSIVELY.

War crimes charges should be brought against HAMAS.

1 - Gaza has a border with EGYPT as well. EGYPT blocked their border too. Because of the behavior of the 'palestinians'. The Palestinians made their bed. Now they get to lie in it.

Well attacks go on in much greater numbers all over the world that do not get the time of day. It’s like the Fox news story about Holloway who died/missing in Aruba. Don’t let the news determined for you what is important and what is not.

If this makes you angry, as it should, then you should also be angry about so many other events too, but I bet your are not. Its a life of ignorance with news agenciies or bias reporting that allow you to see only what they want you to see.

No, I'm afraid you didn't understand me well. I'm angry because of all wars and violence, not just because of Israel. But we're talking about Israeli crimes there, so I didn't mention all the others.

And I'm not brainwashed (i guess you wanted to say that). I just see most violence and horror of war on the news and on the internet, so I don't really know about all other wars (I admit, but I doubt you know about all others as well). It's really not important who is involved, it's just the war and capitalism that makes me angry....

because long long ago in a book of dubious orgin and accuracy it was written by god (but using another guy to actually write it on paper, but god told him what to say...trust us) that israel has the right to slaughter whoever they feel like.

god also told them that they will posses all the land from the nile to the euphrates. unfortunatly god forgot to remove the people who happen to live there now. but fear not! god always provides a way! and gods solution was as simple and timeless as it has always been. gods solution was KILL EVERYONE!!!

It is because the West Bank is under the political administration of Fatah who have the support of Israel and other nations, whereas Gaza is under the political administration of Hamas who have been declared a terrorist entity.

Please...if you are starting to feel that way, switch off the tv/radio/PC and declare yourself a politically neatral zone for a while...attacking civilians does nothing, regardless of which viewpoint you feel drawn to

Find a release in any way that helps if it feels all too much, but taking your frustration out on civilians does nothing...as we are all seeing right now on both sides of the conflict

where are all the other muslims opening their countries up for the palestinians? shocker!!! none are doing it!! even egypt doesn't want anything to do with them. and the oil-rich fellow arab nations could spend a few billion to set up gaza in a peaceful way with businesses and jobs, build schools and set up trade, they could spend a few of their billions to help build up the infrastructure of the gaza strip...but do they do it? no!!...and why is that? all this islamic brotherhood is a bunch of crap as far as the palestinians go.
and with all the hundreds of billions of dollars of oil wealth the other arab nations have, it's the united nations that is SUPPOSED to help?... yeah right.

i wonder how the palestinians feel about getting shafted from their own islamic brothers from all across the middle east. i'm sure all the mullahs are comfortable in their own homes, with their cars, and the many wives, and their servants, while telling the poor palestinians to go out and die in the name of allah

Egypt does as the USA/Israel says,its receives 1.3 billion a year for its military and 800 million for its infrastructure/economy and has been since 1979,if they say close the border they will.I think you will find alot of rich business men in the middle east who would love to kick start the economy in gaza...but thats a pretty hard task when israel decides who enters and who leaves.As for the OP,there are a heck of alot of countries that should be charged with warcrimes,its sickening whats happening in this conflict but many western countries are no better.What israel should be charged with is possesion of illegal nuclear warheads and punished with sanctions and an economic stranglehold,wont happen though obviously.

They're NOT war criminals. They are merely defending themselves. They don't have the benefit of an ocean to seperate them from their enemies the way that we in the U.S. do. When America was attacked we struck back, and no one criticized us. Why is it then, that they are criticized for doing the same thing?! They have a right and a responsibility to defend themselves and their citizens against those who would eliminate them.
