Why are the Americans facilitating the new attacks, For the Greater Good?

Most likely because saying " HEY were attacking for the greater BAD" probably sounds really stupid, and they wouln't be able to get support for those attacks.

Come on now, the government runs us on propaganda and fear, ofcourse they think they're right when they're attacking another nation.

For the greater good, is the tag they have placed on the operation. It is perhaps a way to open our eyes! Hey, with all of the banks and buisinesses going broke, we won`t have anywhere to loot when it all goes up!
