Exactly. The thing about all this is that the Hamas did do some things to make Israel retaliate from the attacks made upon them. But lets compare the apples to the oranges here.

Seeing how much devistation Israel is capable of..thanks to the US made hardware and funds, is the severity of this devistation taking it way over the keel and completely overtaking the level of "fair is fair" as far as a retaliation is concerned?

Its understandable that Israel would defend itself. But this is not defending anything by any means, it is pure invasion, pure destructive assault and pure aggressive killing on Israel's part.

In simpler terms, how many times must Israel beat the dead horse to kill the horse?

I am by NO MEANS agreeing with the attacks by Israel. I hate war. But hasn't Israel beat that horse many times and it still keeps getting up? When is sanity going to come?
Killing will NEVER bring real lasting peace.

Your right but lets not forget the U.S media which is also a weapon in and of itself, like your analogy above I want to realize all of the things at play here.. I want all the bananas! and your right how many times does the dead horse need to be kicked it's already dead!! I fear the destructive capabilites of Israel in regards to Hamas dosen't Israel posess U.S. tactical nukes?

Hopefully not after the nucluear fallout has subsided, this is getting out of control fast I mean how long until other nations start getting involved? and the media just like gas on a fire if you ask me, don't they realize they toy with peoples lives?

You are very correct! The media, be it US media, or any other, does tend to add more fuel to a fire that needs to be put out. It is no different today as it was back in the pre WWI and WWII and Korea and Vietnam and Desert Storm and Iraq wars. Media has such a hold on the public opinion and does in fact sway the opinion by simply displaying what it feels should be displayed to sway the bell curve to swing in the favor of the favorite.

What is needed is open minds, clear heads and vigilance. Letting media tell us how to think and how to have an opinion is just as bad as having to be the innocents facing the end of falling bombs and missiles. They dont have any choice...and in effect, we dont either if we allow ourselves to be swayed by media.

Well just like you said MSM the s being sheeple, it's sad but some of the "sheeple" are the ones leading the others to the slaughterhouse, right alongside the innocents of this current conflict, the MSM does not allow for individual thought and does infact "guide" the opinion of the watcher or reader to favor the favorite your right, it's a shame that the proaganda of late has stirred so much violence and death.
