cant confirm it, but the footage fox was playing on one of their teasers showed about a 8' hole with lava bubeling up. The main reason i'm still
awake, to see if they told where they took that footage from. If it is YS its major... if its footage from some where else its no big deal.
But looks like they are going to chicken out and not play it. I'm going to have to crash before long and get a few hours sleep..

Can anyone confirm those statements? Or are they just part of a snipe hunt of disinfo?
I'm pretty sure that's what went down in that "Documadrama" SUPERVOLCANO

That was stock footage of a different volcano. Theres no magma erupting at Yellowstone, yet. So, you can rest well.

I was under the impression that as soon as air hit the pressurized magma chamber, game over.

If it gets any more active or any closer together its going to be constant. To make it worse its shaking alot in between.

Is it just me or is there no updated feed coming from UofU?
The last info I can retrieve is the end of the last cycle ending at 6 am.
The 6th data is not showing up.
The last data is well over 6 hours old, and usually by 8 am they have archived the previous day and current readings are available.
Today it's 10 am and still no new current info coming from any of the seismographs.
Since HS has told us that nothing is going on at YS, you would think then they would have enough time to keep the readings stream online and
current?
No new data for 6 hours?
Is GEE still down?

Good work on the graph. Thanks for laying that out and keeping up with it. Someone suggested a similar name last night, but I think I coined the
"Top Secret Geyser" name. Glad you like it.

You know I found that very odd indeed they kept focusing back there on that MASS of eruptions then kept panning over to the stand of trees like they
where expecting something to happen there too. But I tried to see if there is a geyser there too and cant seem to find one.

The last one occurred at an even shorter time interval after its preceding one: only 38 minutes later. I wonder if the increase in activity has just
started to escalate.

More than likely that lava footage was from some volcano, somewhere else at some point. If YS was at that state, I doubt Fox News would be that close
to film it. ;p
The precursors to an eruption are warning enough. It wouldn't just "explode" out of the blue with no warning, as is evident in any volcanic
eruption. (Yes, I know it's a super-volcano and a bit extraordinary, but should still follow pattern with all it's "little sisters", if not
varying to some degree.) Take Mt. St. Helens, for instance. Began showing signs on March 20th, and didn't blow until May. There will be ash puff
first. A very noticeable and very quick bulge. The EQ's would increase in magnitude.
Zones were mapped out for the public, even though scientists back in 1980 couldn't predict when Helens would go, or how large the explosion would
actually be.

It´s like a small crater venting all the time. I have no idea if this is usual or if it was there before... But it has their attention... As the cam
has focused many times there.

Ohh 'Top Secret Geyser' , nice ring to it!
As to missing Q in Montana it could be, mind you could be
If there is any Large mining company in the area of that event it could be that.
I have run across many that show up and then disappear and the explanation
has been mining, a few instances 1 or 2 road construction- clearing an edge of a mountain of all things to straighten or make a new road way.
NOT saying that that is what happened in Montana. But in other cases they show the blip and then it is gone. Upon inquiry explanation was one of the
above.

There are several vents, geysers, and springs there that erupt on various schedules (or no schedule at all). Unless you are extremely familiar with
the area, it would be very hard to determine if a feature was new or behaving unusually -especially based on the poor resolution images coming from
those cams.

Sorry RF I don't buy that for a minute. So what you are saying is that the station output graphs are lying to us? That flat lines are in fact, not
flat lines until they revise the data first, and all of a sudden these big events will show up LATER on the webicorder pages? Nuh uh.
No no no!! Im not saying the graphs or the data is lying to us. What I am saying is the data gets shunted to their computers first before it goes out
onto the public servers for our use. It is important for the geologists and scientists there who are not just a curious public, to get this data as it
happens, the second it happens. The system is designed so that when critical data is detected, it will direct that data to their systems first. Thats
all, nothing changed, nothing hidden, its just the data needs to get to the crucial places first. The large indications you see later are the data
they needed to detect at the moment it happend, when you saw nothing on the graphs.
I dont see anything wrong with that whatsoever. I for one am glad that their systems get priority. After all, who are we to trust in decyphering that
data....those highly trained geologists who have been working these graphs for decades...or a few curious ATS members doing this from consumer grade
computers, downloaded readers and graphs from public information access websites?
I would rather choose the advice and decyphering by the higly trained geologists who NEED that data before the curious public needs it.
No offense intended to the curious public. I fall into the catagory of the curious public too. But still I would rather see that data get prioritized
to the trained professional geologists and their far more advanced systems than to us when a crucial measurement is detected.
Cheers!!!!

Why would it need to deflect at all? It is information - it can be sent to several places simulataneously. I am not understanding this.

Thanks for the info. I agree with you that it is extremely difficult to determine if it is new or not... Who knows?
At the same time, the voice was explaining the temperature close to these vents... I assume that he was trying to say that it is normal to see the
area around it without snow... That´s what we were talking about some posts back here on ATS...

Ptolomeo
