Tomorrow (April 7), an independent comic company is gonna start putting out a monthly Ghostbusters comic... took 'em forever to get the rights, and even longer to release it (the initial date was almost two months ago), but I've seen some previews and it looks like good stuff.

The company's site can be found at www.88mphstudios.com.

Just a heads-up from a hopeless geek

It's a good concept if it's done right. This could go either way.

Well, I thought the same, but the guys designing the comic have been visiting the Ghostbusters message boards (yes, they have those ) and making sure everything was canon, entertaining, and cool with the hardcore fans.

From what I've seen, it's gonna be great.

It's an awesome comic! I have all 5 covers.
The regular cover, The Variant Dan Brereton cover, The UV Coated Dealer Incentive, The Graham Crackers Exclusive and the Toyzz.com Exclusive.

It's awesome. Great art, good writing. It's nice to see alot of 80's properties making such a big come back.

I loved ghostbusters. However can the bring over the comedy aspect? Without Bill Murray I doubt it will be as good. Still I'll be sure to look into those.
