I agree that recent events in California would have generated Gay/Religious threads. Even the election itself polarised a lot of people and peoples'
basic worldviews have been brought forward and been challenged.
But I'd be inclined to call it conspiracy when a recognised group...Church of Latter Day Saints...dedicates itself and a significant amount of cash,
to reducing or removing the civil rights of another group. And this is a conspiracy web site, is it not? Maybe we're not formulating the debate
properly, or maybe we need a 'gender issues' board. Luckily we have mods to make that call.
Just my humble opinion.
