Santa's Incursions

What is it that makes Santa’s Sleigh nearly invisible to the naked eye and yet easily observed through technology?

What secret pact does Santa have with the governments of the world that allows him to fly through controlled airspace unmolested?

As of this writing, Santa can be tracked via the North American Aerospace Defense Command (norad). We know where he is and where he has been. It seems that he has been following a predictable pattern for decades. So why are his incursions accepted and almost ignored?

Just as importantly, why has this been ignored by hardcore UFO’ologists? His annual trek through the skies is ignored by people who spend their lives investigating unacknowledged visitors from the sky. Is it because his powers are religious in nature? Or are his elves more menacing than MiB?

Is ATS involved in the cover-up? They don’t seem to be doing much towards pushing disclosure.

I think it would be fun to hijack the evening news with a breaking story about a UFO being shot down by Air Force. Crash investigation revealed it to a dead deer, a bag of toys and an old man in a red suit. OMG Santa was real, too bad he didn't have the proper clearance for our air space.

The wailing and crying would finally put a nail in Christmas.
