Being fazed is a healthy part of the journey, and speaks of moral fiber. Farce often contains a veiled, yet exquisite seed of enlightenment. At the risk of initially increasing your mental anguish might I be so bold as to invite a second viewing? There is more to it than meets the eye, I believe.
I anticipate a meeting of minds.
is it worth it?
What? Life? The search for it's meaning? Or the time it takes to view a parody of the two?
a) Yes
b) Yes
c) It depends whether you regard a search for the right questions a worthwhile enterprise.
Regarding c) above: just bear in mind it was conceived with the author-to-be legless, flat on his back looking up at the stars, the limitations of his mind suddenly expanded as he took it all in and belched.
A Moment to Remember
A magic moment I remember:
I raised my eyes and you were there.
A fleeting vision, the quintessence
Of all that's beautiful and rare.
I pray to mute despair and anguish
To vain pursuits the world esteems,
Long did I near your soothing accents,
Long did your features haunt my dreams.
Time passed- A rebel storm-blast scattered
The reveries that once were mine
And I forgot your soothing accents,
Your features gracefully divine.
In dark days of enforced retirement
I gazed upon grey skies above
With no ideals to inspire me,
No one to cry for, live for, love.
Then came a moment of renaissance,
I looked up- you again are there,
A fleeting vision, the quintessence
Of all that`s beautiful and rare.
Eat your heart out, Batman.
OK. Is it
1) A computer simulation of an '___' overdose?
2) Some sick invention aimed at scaring the living daylights out of pre-schoolers?
3) A challenge to see if we'd spot the 'grey' at 5:17?
