Right, America does have way too many overweight whiners who live an unsustainable consumption based lifestyle. Too patriotic? I think maybe too many people are misguided in what they think patriotism is. They use it as an excuse to dislike, fear or even hate things that are not American just because they are different. I really don't care what other countries think of America, I care what Americans think of other Americans. I've traveled the world enough to know the problems you list exist everywhere. Worrying to much about what others think is a huge part of the unsustainable problem.

The USA was a symbol of Freedom, Justice.

The current ecenomic crisis,,, is just a open bleeding wound of damaged country who has lost its way led by dark dark people.

great post !! I reckon disclosure on Kennedy and 911 would be a good start. Then follow up with UFOs, the moon landing, MKUltra, DUMBs etc etc.

Taking more of a backseat and not acting like the world police could really help engender more respect by others for the USA.

I do not dislike all Americans but I really do not like some of the warped stuff your government is into. Hey...even my own government sucks.
