If they are starving they may want too buy food. Or else we can ignore them eating grass since they refuse too buy food.

Religions are the inventions of the fallen nature. It's man attempting to please God and find favour with God: so men can feel good about themselves and point fingers at the infidels, heathens, or anyone that does not follow what he believes. Religions are all corrupt because they are all invented and/or infected by the fallen nature of man.

However, being anti-religion is also a religion, therefore, banning religion is an oxymoron and so the premise is illogical.

The problem is in the fallen human nature with all it's earthly passions such as jealousy, envy, pride, and wrath which manifest in our actions such as outbursts of anger, vengeance, disputes, dissensions, factions, lying, stealing, muggings, hatred, bickering, quarreling, gossiping, back biting, and taking pleasure in the misfortunes of others(not a complete list).

There will not be unity among people as long as people reject the one Spirit that can unite us all. It is a Spirit that stands opposed to deeds of the fallen nature listed above. Such a Spirit transcends all religions, cultures, ethnicity's, knowledge, inventions, beliefs, governments, powers, systems, wisdom, etc.

The Spirit is not something we invent. We don't find it, it finds us. When it finds us it manifests by compelling us to a rebirth, to love our neighbor as ourselves, and do unto others as we would have others do unto us. It compels us to do acts of kindness, compassion, mercy, and all acts contrary to the fallen nature...etc.

But man fails to recognize that these angelic compulsions are not his own, and the opportunity to transcend his fallen nature is lost in the catacombs of his foolish pride, where he takes glory for his goodness and so dishonors the Spirit.

Such compulsions are not from our own nature but are the unctions of the one Spirit with the power to unite us all. To desire a heart governed by the angelic tempers of this one Holy Spirit is the beginning of one's true enlightenment. The Spirit gives us rebirth and opens us up to a new world and a new life within us. The Spirit brings unity; knowledge; wisdom; transition and illumination to our lives.

The Palestinians have performed more than their share of atrocities. Don't ask me to start posting the links to all their bombings resulting in death and destruction in Isreal, including deaths of American citizens. They have even killed their own and set it up to make it look like the Israel army did it.

What have the Palestinians tried so far? Outright war, intifada, suicide bombings, rocket launchings, etc. What have they not tried so far? Complete cessation of violence by all Palestinian groups and a meaningful dialogue with the Israelis. If Palestine truly wishes to survive, they will have to make some basic concessions to the Israelis. That is the sad truth - the underdog simply will not get everything that they want.

But I thought that is what they originally did and in the mean while, immigrants, settlers and the Israeli occupation forces moved in and decanted them from their villages and towns.

I think you are putting the the cart before the horse. In action by the Palestinians means loss of their homes so why should they quietly go?

Once again, the wolf chasing its tail. You can argue the cart before the horse, who started it, whatever you'd like until everyone on both sides is thoroughly blue in the face, but that wont change the Palestinian's present situation.

The past doesn't matter. Who started it doesn't matter. Who was there first doesn't matter.

What matters now is that any Palestinian violence or subterfuge against Israel will be met with a disproportionate and decisive amount of military force on Israel's part.

The only reasonable, logical, and sane thing to do is for all of the militant Palestinian factions to come together, announce that they will recognize Israel and Israel's claim to Jerusalem, and then work on hashing out their state's borders. Unless I'm missing some part of history, they have yet to do this.

I know it's not fair to Palestine, but it's the only realistic way to stop the atrocities going on there.

Look at Japan: The U.S. decimated whole cities of the country with atomic bombs, causing huge amounts of damage and many, many casualties. Was that fair and right? That's debatable, just like the Israeli and Palestinian conflict. However, once Japan capitulated (and took many concessions in the process) they grew into the world's #2 economy and a powerhouse in global politics.

Instead of embracing war, they embraced innovation and education. Palestinians already have many well educated people, and their capacity and energy can be tunneled into non-violent means. If they really want to defeat Israel, they will surrender to it, grow by it, and overcome it through economic and social means.

Launching mortars randomly into Israeli-held territory and running suicide bombers into civilian targets is like a midget pokimg a polar bear with a hot needle

No, it's more like targetting babies and women because you won't dare fight against a real man. Palestinians target the weak and defensless while letting their own weak and defenseless starve. Cause hey, instead of a few eggs and milk let's buy another rpg!

I have to agree with your observations/assertions.

When an F-16 drops a 500lb bomb in the middle of a housing complex to silence a mortar round who is that targetting exactly?

When people throwing stones come under machine gun and tank fire, how is that justifiable?

If heavily armed men came to your house/apartment and set up a mortar to fire from inside the grounds, could you/would you as an unarmed woman be in a position to stop them?

Can you not see that NEITHER side in the middle east is blameless.

Violence begats violence.

The real sting in the tail - and it really is hypocrisy in action - is that a nation composed of peoples who were once walled in, segregated, singled out and starved to death as part of the greatest crime in world history are now walling people in, segregating them and starving them to death.

There are real people involved in this. Ordinary people like you and I. They are powerless to stop the bickering being carried out by the idiots with the weapons and they are suffering for it.

Now tell me how a human being - any human being - can realistically say that another deserves to be starved to death.

Then tell me how anyone can actually buy food when the borders are sealed and the passage of aide into territories is being prevented?

Really - you are looking at this argument obtusely through one-way glass. Look at the other side of the picture as well.

Great post. Unfortunately, it's highly unlikely that GamerGal will make any pertinent response to what you just said (or what anyone else has said). This whole thread has become a big troll-fest compliments of GamerGal who keeps repeating the same inflammatory thing without ever actually responding to ANYTHING anyone has said.

EDIT: Maybe we should stop feeding in to it?

Israelis are not seen as evil they are by nature evil, they have robbed another people of their land and continue to murder and starve said people who are trying to get their land back.

Ok so let's all of us in the US that came from other countries or have any ancestors that came here from another country all go back to where we came from and give the land back to the Native Americans. That is your rational. I don't think it would work.
By the way "mushroom" where did you come from? Born here in the US? Great. Where did your relatives come from?

The fault for that 500 pounder would be the fault of the cowards who placed the mortar in the complex.

The people in the complex should not be surprised, and not allow these idiots into their neighborhood.

This is often a purposeful tactic to willfully cause civilian casualties, enabling a propaganda claim.

The person who drops the bomb is blameless.

The blood be on the heads of those who initiate the mortar/rocket/sniper attacks.

What? Are you going to allow a neighbor to fire indiscriminately at your house - and not respond?

Anyone who would allow attacks on innocents without taking out the source, wherever they are found doesn't deserve to live anyway.

That's nature's way of saying, "you can't fight for yourself, so you don't belong."
