I thought this was interesting. It seems "Conspiracy Theories" may be a new fad that the MSM is feeling out for viability.

Check out this list from the UK Telegraph:

Seems like people are being exposed to these as 'diversions' from the important news about who's sleeping with whom, and how the filthy rich run our lives (or ruin).

It seems like it is trying to discredit but it could possibly do the opposite and get people that have never heard of these theories to do their own research.

Interesting, I think there was a show on the BBC not that long ago which talked about a different conspiracy theory each week aswell.

I'm kind of on the cusp of suspecting this is simple 'entertainment' programming myself. I can't say if it serves any purpose other than that myself, although I was naturally inclined to think of it as further indications that 'conspiracy theories' are not to be taken seriously, but as quaint or curious mental affectations.

Perhaps it is devoid of that intent, and I am simply being paranoid!

It occurred to me to point out that regular 'readers' of this material may never be exposed to any other explanatory information regarding details about these 30 theories.

For many, this will form the basis of their entire 'meme' regarding "Conspiracy Theories." I wonder, all in all, if that can be a 'good' thing?

Nice link. Some good photos too. The thing that bothers me is the way he keeps saying things like:

Despite being utterly discredited for at least 100 years, belief in this document has proved remarkably resilient on the internet.

...and these theories have been generally discounted but belief in them - particularly on the web - persists.

He refers to the interweb as though it's full of people who are willing to believe anything. "The Internet", full of wackos.

I think this list does nothing to motivate readers to further investigate. I worry that soon, as people have previously mentioned, the MSM will push the thought that the internet (particularly ATS etc) is a place for nutjobs to hang around and be weird and crazy, thus segregating us from society further hiding truths.
