To be perfectly honest, I am unqualified to review this film.
but....

This was a trip into urban surrealism, existentialism, hallucination and insanity.

A brilliantly crafted allegory of something, but I need to think about this film somemore before I can tell what it was an allegory of.
This was Charlie Kaufman's first attempt at directing and it was masterful.
Philip Seymour Hoffman was brilliant as was the astounding lineup of supporting actors.

This was a very adult film dealing with adult issues, emotions and dreams.
This film in some way reminded me of "Day of the Locust" or of some of Mastroianni's work. This is not a pretty film; the romance is gritty as is the language.

This film is not for eveyone and would probably bore the more youthful members to tears as there is really no cohesive story line or adventure.
Just an exploration into madness and human frailty.

Please give me some feedback after you have seen this movie.

Only two more days until "The Spirit"
