Secrets of the Freemasons - EXPOSED!!!

<<  1    2  >>

Topic started on 22-12-2008 @ 11:19 AM by Teratoma

The validity of the title I chose is debatable, but for the sake of unity and good cheer, I thought I'd post this. I found very little in regards to this guy using 'Search', which I found surprising seeing as how it looks to me like he does his research in places like ATS.

Anyhow, his name is John Safran, and his shtick is that of a cross between Borat & Colbert. He's an Austrailian comedian with a show called John Safran Vs. God, in which he takes on, well, pretty much everyone.

I suppose I should include some kind of disclaimer as there are bound to be some people that can't see the humor in his South Park-esque rhetoric (by that I mean NO ONE is safe) and will be offended.

Though it's my opinion that his video on Freemasonry is so tongue-in-cheek that folks on both sides of the debate will find it amusing. His personna is so over-the-top that it's hard to feel sorry for his victims who seem clueless as to the fact they're talking to a comedian as opposed to a "real" documentarian.

My other favorites are:

John Safran Vs. The Bible Code

John Safran tries to join the KKK

John Safran Vs. Mormon Cinema

John Safran Vs. Scientology in Rock Music

I'll reserve my personal beliefs on these subjects for another thread, but in the mean time, I'm literally "LMAO" at this stuff.

Edit to add - these are all under 10 minutes long, and have been around for about 5 years. I'm really baffled by the fact I hadn't heard of him before last weekend.

(The last 10 seconds of the Freemasonry one alone makes it worth watching.)

Now that was entertaining. A good laugh - which is always needed in these forums as both sides tend to get a bit serious every now and then

...Exactly why I posted it. Glad you liked it - don't you just love the way he keeps saying "EXPOSED!" ...It needed all caps in the title!

Satire is my favorite form of humor, and I think it's done best when proponents and opposers of an issue can both get a chuckle from it.

Cheers!

I wonder if Safran's a Mason... Or an ATS member... Or BOTH!? [looks around all shifty-like.]

I believe that everyone has the right to a properly organized and well funded Christmas dinner, with a well-crafted table set on a firm stone foundation. Beware Friday the 13th... Colonies. "the only thing we have to fear is..." Merry Christmas each and everyone of us

Flagged and starred as a Mason and as a television editor.

Sometimes, one has to thank the anti-Masons for making Freemasonry look so sexy and dangerous.

From his website:

There is only one thing worse than someone shoving their religious beliefs down your throat and that's someone shoving their smarmy, superior views about people who have religious beliefs down your throat. Needless to say there's a lot of shoving going on in this show, unfortunately the shoving doesn't involve John and a staircase. This may be his most audacious project yet but it is also his most offensive. Here, John takes advantage of anyone who dares to have a different opinion to him and he serves it up, thinly veiled, as comedy. This show makes me wish we were still crucifying people.

...His website's pretty funny; allegedly having been designed by his ex-girlfriend, who interjects disparaging editorial all over it.

I think we should change tactics.

Maybe we should tell people we ARE a secret society and we DO control the world.

Maybe the anti-masons would start a bunch of posts about how nice and good we are!

They're ALL good! The Bible Code one is so ON-TOPIC here on ATS that I highly recommend it!

I just watched THIS ONE that I hadn't seen, where he 'investigates' the PEYOTE WAY CHURCH of GOD, right in my own back yard so-to-speak. I believe he really participated, because he drops several 'f-bombs' before puking... The puking doesn't seem so out-of-character, but he maintains proper speech ettiquet in the rest of his work.

"TRAP"... I guess I'm guilty there! But seeing as how I reveal the fact that it's satirical in nature starting with the first line of my post, I suppose the only ones I'm trying to bamboozle are those too lazy to read the thread or watch the video (but not too lazy to "share" their uber-important enlightened input.)

I'm sure some will see the title of this thread and catalog my handle into the "anti-mason" camp. I'm not anti anything really. ...Except maybe ass-hattery.

Cheers - and pardon my harsh-sounding follow up. I figured if I explained my misleading title right away then no one would actually be 'fooled'.

I understand the defensiveness that can accrue amongst the persecuted, and I guess that was the basis of my 'ribbing', but you just gotta read the post before you react, lest your torso become a hat for your own ass.

This is a excellent idea. The next time I meet a anti-mason in public I will do this. I attract them like magnets even though I don't wear anything but a ring which I don't flash around at all, I must have a blinking sign above my head.

I'll be like "Yes its all true. We are satan worshiping ritual sex goat riding world dominating eeeeeeeeeeeeviiilllll people!" Then watch the reaction. I bet you we see a post on ATS the next day "Mason confirms theories to be true!!"
