He hated, the communist Russian, but more importantly, he was disgusted with another group even more. He viewed them as sub human.

Patton was no lunatic, he was only missing certain pieces to the puzzle. But as can be seen, even with those missing pieces he was already compromised, and betrayed, by a government that had already been infiltrated.

Patton went into great detail about what he saw in Germany and of the German people in general, and held a firm belief that something was amiss, they were not the real enemy. And when he raised his eyes to the real threat, the real enemy, they were closed for him.

It amazes me how many people have metal blocks that do not allow deeper thinking. But then again, the real enemy knows exactly where to place them, and when.
