I doubt, Airborne laser will work in 2009, because Obama will cut it's budget. In fact, the system is completely useless, since it was designed, for shooting down tactical missiles in cold war. It was to be stationed in Europe and shoot down missiles targeted on European cities. It is really useless against Iran or North Korea....
