We already do that with the phones companies

Verizon Communications is partly owned by Barclays a british company
Verizon Wireless is 49% owned by Vodafone british company

TMobile is a German Company

Sprint is owned partly by SK Telekom a Korean company & Barclays a british company

Alltel see Verizon

Tracfone, Net 10 owned By America Movil a Mexican Company

Most MVNO's are owned by forgien companies.

Blackberries are made by RIM a Canadian Company need I go on


Transit

Greyhound is owned by First Group a Scotish Company

I bet some of the American Airline companies are partly owned by foriegnors

The only reason mass transit companies arent owned by foriegnors is because most are owned by state and city governments.

Some German or Japanese rail company would probably love to get Amtrak.


Power & Gas Companies

Royal Dutch Shell is a british/dutch company
BP is a british company


Internet

Verizon
Comcast
Time Warner
at&t
Qwest
Comcast
all are partly owned by Barclays a British Company

Food Stores

Koninklijke Ahold N.V., Royal Ahold N.V. a dutch company ownes a couple food stores in the US
7 Eleven is a Japanese Company
Aldi is a German Company
Hudson Bay is a Canadian Company
Delhaize Group is a Belgian Company own 10 supermarket chains
Winn Dixie partly owned by Barclays
Safeway partly owned by Barclays


Electronic Companies

99% are foreign companies

We can no longer build the large reactor vessel for a nuke power plants in the US because Westinghouse sold the very large lathe used to do the machining on them to the Japanese years ago when the US quit building nuke power plants.

That means we will have to buy any new reactor vessels from japan.

Luckily this lathe was not sold to china.
Just think of what a POS we would have to use if they built our reactor vessels.
