unreported internationally (1996).
In February 2003, Barrick Gold, moved for dismissal of a lawsuit filed by gold dealer Blanchard & Co. accusing Barrick of gold price manipulation.
Barrick, a privately owned corporation, argued that it was acting as an
agent for the central bank in setting central bank gold policy; that,
as an
agent of the central bank, Barrick was entititled to
sovereign immunity
Barrick' former & current board of directors include; President Gerorge Bush Sr., Canuck PM Brian Mulroney, U.S. Secretary of Defense William Cohen,
Nathaniel Rothschild, member of the prominent Rothschild banking family of England.

ignored by the international community.
