This supposed star that had been seen late last year and the early months of this year was Venus acompanied by Jupiter. Both stars were quite close to each other and were both extremely bright. they appeared right at dusk when the sun set and were just over the horizon in the southwestern sky. These two planets were aligned and the alignment was at its closest sometime in late december/early january. The next time we see a planet alignment this close and visible will be in 2012 and it will be way more significant and visible. I'm not saying I believe in the whole "doomsday" prophecy of 2012 but one thing's for sure..... there will be a show in the sky! As far as the OP goes, I think the gold and silver dude got it right with calling it a Satanic Agenda. The bible speaks of a false religious leader in the end times who will come before Christ and will claim to be Christ or a "savior" of sorts. Someone else referenced stars and Lucifer claiming to be the morning star or something. Truth is, when he was Lucifer, that was his name. The name "Lucifer" actually means "morning star" or "light". When he betrayed God and tried overtaking His throne, he was cast to earth and was renamed "Satan" which means "great deciever". So you see, Lucifer isn't his true name anymore. Jesus is now the "Morning Star" or "Light of the World" that Satan vacated. Also, when "stars" are referenced in the bible, they are mentioned to be "angels" and the seven stars in revelation represent the seven angels of the seven churches referenced in revelation.... churches described as lampstands. Though these churches were actual churches in Asia Minor (Turkey), they also represent the 7 ages of the church. All church ages are present today in some form or another but we are now in the age of the Laodecian age of the church. There is still a strong presence of the Philadelphia age. If you don't know what I'm talking about, please reference your bibles to revelation and the "message to the 7 churches." Each message represents characteristics of each church age. Trust me when I say that catholics and protestants don't even count as one of the 7 churches but only "false religious systems" used by Satan to blind well-meaning people into false doctrine. Where did sunday worship come from when the bible clearly makes the sabbath on saturday? Why do most christians celebrate christainized versions of pagan holidays (i.e. christmas and easter) when God speaks against mixing paganism with His doctrine (Deuteronomy 12:29-32) and why do most christains know nothing about God's Holy Days which are commanded in the bible (Leviticus 23) and followed by Jesus, His disciples, and the 1st century church of the apostolic era.... simply with a more insightful meaning to them. Why do most christians have a mixed view of heaven and hell along with the afterlife? Heaven isn't even the destination of mankind after death (John 3:13) and hell is a mistranslation of 4 different words, 2 of which means "death" or "grave". The lake of fire is called the "second death" which means, if you are cast into "hellfire" you die and do not suffer for eternity, just simply cease to exist. Last month in the UK I saw an impossibly bright star, like never before on two occasions in the same place. I was so struck by it. In the end I kind of just reasoned, "It's polaris" and forget about it.

I happened to have pointed a telescope at this "new star" and it seems to change colors and change shape through out the night so no its not Jupiter or Venus, what these people or "Ascended Masters" want is for there to be a debate about this so that they can emerge openly and confirm it is their star. Maitreya seems to have miracles under his belt which suggest nothing else than the anti-christ.
