If you're going to criticize him criticize him for his actions not his race. I don't honestly see why this is a big deal and why people who criticize him think that people will think they're racist for doing so. If they're saying he's not an American citizen because they've read he's been to Kenya, well, I can see why they would be concerned about it, but I don't see why so many people are asking if they're going to be considered racist for not liking the guy. Can someone fill me in on why this is?

Let me tell you that I can't stand Obama. The fact he is black is irrelevant, there are more valid reasons to dislike someone.
I can't stand him bcuz he is a REALLY good lying puppet.
I'll give him his 4 yrs to be fair but I see who he is already.Just another lying politician.
You can call me racist,I don't care!!

Uhh, can you please tell me honestly why you think he is the one that is lying? He is only telling you the lies that they (the NWO and the global elite) want us to hear. Other than that part about Obama I think he's a pretty good guy and he talks about what he believes in. But... I've noticed a mass of posters here who worry about being called a racist for criticizing him. And I want to know why that is.

Its bcuz of history.Rather then start fresh I think people won't let it go.For some reason the conflict is needed.
I do think everyones life does need verification and justification. That could be all they feel they need or want without realizing it.

It appears (from a personal standpoint) that it has held true that if you are a white person and you talk negativly about Barack Obama (Bam-A-Lam), then you are instantly not liking him for his race, fogetting any and all points you are bringing up. It always seems responded with "You just hate him cos he's black."

This has happened to me a number of time Personally, I can't wait to see what he's got. I hope he was actually born in the USA (they STIL haven't got that monkey off his back), I hope that he keeps his promises and is able to make a differance.

Most of my questioning of him is: Why the heck is the guys past so damn guarded? If you know youre gonna run for president, you gotta be ready to go under the microscope. He's hiding something. He's gotta be.

If that makes me racist, then that's news to my many black and Chicano friends...

I don't worry about it, because when I say something about someone, it is not because of his or her race. I'm not that kind of person. However, to answer your question, I have noticed on many threads, that if someone DOES criticize Obama for anything, they are frequently called racists, even when no mention of race was made. In my opinion, the concern of the people criticizing him are well-founded, based upon past experiences.

i have been called racist every time i question where he was born.( even by my own dad, a obama supporter) I dont like him because he wont show us his reall BC, long form, vault BC. I think its simple, there was a lot of criticising of bush and his administration and now the NWO have put a man in place you cant criticise because hes black in turn this creates racism arguments and turns people against each other.
Thats the idea that you cant criticise the government now it turns us against each other and distracts us from focusing on the real issue, the man himself who is wrapped up both in security and conspiracy theories and we know nothing will change.
And even if some ignorant rascist neo nazis kill him and it screws the NWO plan we here on ats and other sites will too think thats was a plan, i quite enjoy the phycological chess game

Because they're morons?

(Well, some of them are actually racists, too.)

Personally, I'm sure I'll find plenty to criticize President Obama for over the next 4-8 years, and I like the guy, and I voted for him.

Criticizing politicians is every American's right, nay, duty in fact.

Criticizing his policy ideas is not racist.

The birth certificate thing and the "sekrit Muslim" nonsense, OTOH, if not subtle racism, are at the very least profoundly idiotic.

I'm a liberal and there's plenty that I can criticize him on without attacking his race. I would for instance like to see him elaborate more about what his ideas for universal health care. All he's done is give us very general ideas so far. I would like for him to talk more about what he will do because all I know about universal health care is that it's a socialist policy but I don't know how he will do it. I don't see why you or other people feel like they can't criticize him because he's black.

I think you'll find that many people didn't vote for him, BECAUSE he never gave specifics concerning his plans. Anyone can make general promises, but the devil is in the details. It still amazes me as to how so many people voted for him, but couldn't name one specific item that he either accomplished or one detail proposal that he made. By the way, that is not just my feeling, several news people interviewed Obama supporters both before and after the election, and virtually NONE of his supporters could name ONE THING that he did, or proposed to do. It was all just personality and the catch phrases "Change we can believe in" and "Yes, we can".
Actually, I don't blame him for that. I blame the voters who made no attempt to demand any details, or ask any probing questions of him. So far, I haven't seen much in the way of change. His cabinet picks look like the Clinton Administration Version 2.0

Why do people worry about being called a member of ObamaNation for supporting Barack Obama? is also a good question.

Seems to me that members who believe that Obama is here to save the day are the ones who revert to labeling people who criticize Obama. I could say something like Obama is not going to be a good President and BAM...I am a racist.

I like the ones who voted for Obama, believes in Obama, but realizes and admits that he won't be able to do everything he said he would.

If you read through all the threads about Obama on here you won't find a single one where someone doesn't show up declaring that anyone who questions him, his proposed policies, where he was born, etc. are racists. It doesn't particularly bother me if someone else tries to toss the racist label at me on here, I know I'm not and anyone who knows me in real life or takes the time to actually read what I write knows I'm not.

I figure the race card gets played by his supporters here as much as it does because that's the best response they can come up with.

It's simple.Anytime you broach the subject of Obama on issues, and the other party can't defend him on the issue. The race card is played. It automaticaly places you in a defensive posture. An acusation of being racist is indefensible.Much like charging an innocent person as being a child molester.Even after an exuastive battle to PROVE innocence, people will still rember them as the child molester.
Get my point? Once you are called a racist all debate over issues is over.So the opponent wins the debate by defalt. I know it's low bred tactics for people to play that game, but for some it's the only way to win a debate.

But I don't think the race card was played by the Democratic party. I'm a Democrat myself and I voted for Obama. I don't agree with everything that Obama says but I don't see how anyone could think they're racist for criticizing the President. It's our job to criticize the leader of our country. It's not unpatriotic or racist to do that. It's racist say if you think his Presidential election victory was illegal without proof if you didn't like the fact that he won, but, to criticize him and worry about being called racist is silly. I voted for him, because, I looked at his policies on his website, and that's how I found out what he believed in. I didn't really listen to what he said in his speeches. During his campaign he was catering to the liberal Democratic base, so, I expect him to bring more liberal policies to Washington, but, I can't see how just because if someone doesn't like him for certain reasons they think other people will consider them racist. I just don't understand this mentality people have.

Obamanauts pull the race card because they dont have any other legs to stand on when they cant fire back with actual positive facts about him and his past.

I'm an Obama supporter and I find this statement untrue. I believe that it was the other side that was of Obama's supporters that constantly have brought up that they felt that Obama has no problem playing the race card. I just don't understand why people worry about being called a racist... he's a liberal... so people should criticize his policies they don't agree with! It's not that hard to do.

Well, don''t. And don't criticize Israel. Anti-semitism will destroy us all. Do you want the terrorists to win? Iran will destroy Israel the first chance it gets, and if you stand in the way the blood will be on your hands.
