It’s all based on fear! Fear of the unknown or of something they dont understand, most westerners do not understand Muslim history or its religion
Islam.
I don’t hate any group, nor do I believe everything I see in the media and on the net. I have very close Muslim friends some are very friendly, open
minded, peaceful and respectful people.
But some are pretty radical in their views and I think it’s in this group that you will find the problem. All religions have radical extremist.
Example UK
Most people in the west will watch or see these types of demonstrations and get very fearful of what might happen. I can understand why some people
become fearful.
Also one thing about the mixing of culture is the idea of tolerating of other religions My theory on this and it's just a theory, That many who come
from a Islamic country/culture have for the most part never had to deal with having another opposing religion so close to their community and some
extremist will lash out and see them as a threat to Islam.
The western societies are not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but there is a for the most part a tolerance freedom of religion which for
most in the west means Mind your own business. And it has worked well. But some Muslims it seems do not acclimate or assimilate to their new
countries. Tension arises.
Case in point Sweden
And now you have a vicious circle which breeds fear and hate and racial/religious and cultural problems.
Just my 2 cents I think Islam is a beutiful religion /But a small few ruin the fun for everybody.
P.S. I'm sorry if I sound like I'm Mulsim bashing If the topic was about Jews, Hindus, Buhdist etc I would say the same thing
we should all mind our own business!
