God then and now

People base their lives on channeled information from the distant past but rarely accept recent information of the same type.
Most of the bible was prophecy.
What is prophecy but channeling?
Why do the radio Christians yell DEVIL every time someone claims to have a vision ?
Wasn't there a prophecy that we will 'have dreams and see visions' in the end times?

I tend to judge things on their merits.
If it was possible then its still possible now.
