A new bill was passed today that is truly frightening. Googling does not come up with a decent current story as I guess it is pretty fresh. This article discusses the possiblity of it

Health and Human Services Department officials said the rule would apply to "any entity" that receives federal funds. It estimated 584,000 entities could be covered, including 4,800 hospitals, 234,000 doctor's offices and 58,000 pharmacies.

From now on, if your pharmacist feels that whichever prescription you are getting is against their religious beliefs, they can refuse to sell it to you. Isn't that great. So now if you need HIV drugs, you better make sure that there are no people between the doctor, the drugs, and you that feels 'religious' about that. On his way out the door, Bush manages one more F-You to American freedoms.

I do not know if this was to finish a payment to some evangelicals or just to be an ass on the way out but the premise is that no one who is anti-abortion will have to aid in any way, anyone getting info about, help with, or an abortion. OK. I don't like it but ok.

This reaches beyond that though. If the cashier at the pharmacy at Wal-mart is against birth control, she does not have to sell it? Does anyone know what every religion in America's stance is on every drug out there?

People will say I am over-reacting and they may be right. Unfortunately, we will soon see.

WOW, another example where Bush has led this country.

Now, anybody behind a counter or in an office, can now be their own "judge" of what others should do or not do.

It really is sickening where we have gone to as a country!

Instead of people treating others with respect and allowing others to live life as they please with not wanting to have children etc. ....people will be able to control and judge that person's life.

We are so totally going down an immoral path - under the guise of morality!
