It depends on how you define "friend". A true friend would not try to manipulate. True friendship is built on honesty. Manipulation requires one to be dishonest. Concealing hidden agendas while hiding behind a facade of friendship is dishonest. A manipulator only pretends to be a friend, so that he can manipulate. Manipulation is Satanic, selfish and evil.
