How can the most wanted man in Iraq and high level Al-Qaeda operative find the time to write a statement and even quote the New York Times in it?
Abu-Musab Al-Zarqawi is the one-legged operative who is supposed to be on the run in Iraq, yet he finds the time to keep up to date with current events and promises to continue his publications. The search for Al-Zarqawi must not be as heated as originally thought, or he could just be the next ever elusive Bin Laden. Since no new statements have been issued by Bin Laden, it is being suggested that Al-Zarqawi may now be the active leader of Al-Qaeda. The rhetoric in the statement is expected, Al-Zarqawi speaks of lies, jihad and the religious rivalry between the Sunni and Shi'ites. The most intriguing part of his statement happens to be the footnote which states:
"A notice : the subject is by the whole of its operations a ready for the display and expected our first publication soon very God Willing".

Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi's statement

Excerpts from the Statement
"Because they understand that the Islamic rebellious if he waked up then not he stands it was recorded Rome doors and Washington and Paris and London .

Have they tried before they cover the battle truth, and that they confuse the pure jihad flag

Then they deluded the world that the one that resists them is the remnants of the extinct regime and the elements of the unbelieving dispatch until the nation does not react with the battle and so that I sigh to the epic, and this a lying and a forgery "

Northeast Intelligence Commentary and Analysis
In the conspicuous absence of al Qaedas Osama bin Laden and Ayman al Zawahiri, the new heir apparent, Ubay Mus'ab Alzrqawy, issued his first statement to the Islamic nation within the past hour, with the unconventional introduction To my dear nation - the best nation ever sent to mankind".

Almost certainly this communiqu provides activation orders for further attacks in the Iraqi theatre of operations. Specific references to Israel and Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon indicate that it probably gives the "green light" for large scale attacks in Israel, and references to British Prime Minister Tony Blair indicate that he may be a target as well.

Zarqawi may also have just issued the go signal for the planned economic attacks described last week in the Al Qaeda publication Al Battar published on this web site.

I am not sure if this is the same statement that I already covered above, but in the above statement, I didn't notice some of the language that is being reported in this audio tape statement. Al-Zaqwari sure does have lots of time on his hands.

Purported Audiotape From Al-Qaida-Linked Figure Claims Responsibility for Dozens of Attacks in Iraq
The 33-minute audiotape appeared Tuesday on a Web site known as a clearinghouse for militant Islamic messages. The speaker introduced himself as Musab al-Zarqawi, a Jordanian also known as Ahmed al-Khalayleh who is thought to be a close associate of Osama bin Laden. It was the first tape of any kind attributed to him to be made public.

The speaker on the tape claimed responsibility for a March 17 car bombing of a Baghdad hotel that killed seven people. The reference to the car bombing was an indication the tape was made recently.

The speaker also said that his group carried out the assassination of Ayatollah Mohammad Baqr al-Hakim, the leader of Iraq's largest Shiite party, the Supreme Council of the Islamic Revolution in Iraq. Al-Hakim was killed by a car bomb in Iraq on Aug. 29.

Al-Hakim's brother, Abdel Aziz al-Hakim, has said al-Qaida was behind that assassination to try to ignite sectarian conflict.

The speaker also threatened to kill Gen. John Abizaid, head of the Central Command; L. Paul Bremer, the top U.S. administrator in Iraq; and "their generals, soldiers and associates."

One theme of the tape echoed that of a letter U.S. authorities released earlier this year in which al-Zarqawi purportedly wrote to other al-Qaida leaders that the best way to undermine U.S. policy in Iraq was to turn the country's religious communities against each other.

Iraq's Shiite majority was suppressed under toppled Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, who favored his own Sunni community. Saddam loyalists in heavily Sunni parts of the country and foreign fighters have been blamed for the bulk of attacks against U.S.-led forces in Iraq.

On the tape, the speaker said Shiite Iraqis were not true Muslims and were "the ears and the eyes of the Americans" in Iraq. He called upon Sunni Muslims in Iraq to "burn the earth under the occupiers' feet."

CIA is stating that the voice on the tape is likely to be authentic and the voice of Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi.
