"A career Army
specialist who survived the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, claims that no evacuation was ordered inside the Pentagon, despite
flight controllers calling in warnings of approaching hijacked aircraft nearly 20 minutes before the building was struck."

They must have made a correction, now she's a specialist.
Wonder if the lower rank (just above private) will affect her credibility?
Not to be combative, but seems kind of like they were sensationalizing her as upper-echelon personnel, when in reality she's pretty much a
coffee-fetcher.
Also with this article, I see the "career" tag applied. If your MOS is anything besides infantry (11*), you will be a specialist when you get out of
advanced individual training (right after basic). 99% chance that she was in her first enlistment. So that makes her "career"?
Wonder how the defense would play this.
Make her look like a low-rent going for the big payday? Entirely possible.
Her boss, who would be a sergeant or staff sergeant, would be at a paygrade that qualifies for food stamps, if that tells you how much she was
making.
Maybe part of the implications or angles that will be seen if this ever breaks into th MSM.
