It is how 'they' like "'m"...

What is important is the point that I made...

You are correct and we're gonna stop this pointless and childish behaviour but to argue the point at hand:

Hu Jia -> 3,5 years prison for speaking his mind
read more...
Oh well it's a long list so i'm not gonna list 'm all here's a link Chinese disidents

Point i'm trying to make is....these are people who simply didn't agree with their goverment and spoke out against it. Now the are in jail or dead!! In Amerika you have the liberty to speak out against things you don't agree with....use that right!!!
Silly and childish as you may think it is. It is still on of the most precious freedoms you have. (and to be honest i don't know if you still have this right if you people are fearing that the gov. will obtain you DNA this way)?
This a form of peacefull protest about something some people don't agree with. Please don't say it's childish....it's a g*ddamn right you should be very proud of for having. Half the world population isn't that lucky!!!

Now let's kiss and make up. I respect your point of view but please do look upon this a little closer than just a childish act......

Peace

I use the "" just to reference what you said, not to correct your spelling.
Yes you're right that freedom of speech is a great thing and something we should be proud of.
I don't think that it's childish, but sending your shoe to your government is a bit childish...
My point was that you can execute that freedom of speech in respectful ways which will actually change peoples mind.
If you simply send a shoe to the White House, it's just going to add to the hate, it's not going to change anyone's mind because there's no logic or reason behind it. The only people who are going to agree with it are people who already agree with you...
If instead you write why you feel this way about the government, and send that out to people, at least you will have accomplished something.

Do what you want, I just think that the whole thing is ridiculous.

More appropriate would be that shoes sent be laden with dog dung, as
the Iraqui shoe thrower properly called Bush a dog.
