The act of posting shoes is neither pointless or illogical, in fact its damn silly, and thats the best part! It's non-aggressive, far from passive, and will be something that will make you giggle the next time you feel riled against the administration

The people can voice their opinion in a normal, acceptable way about something meaningful such as the war or the bailout. Wait, they did and it was ignored. At least the opinion of the average person, those in charge of banks or poorly run insurance giants were heard.

don't get it.

You don't get it, because your brain is not fully developed and you
lack real life experiences on a level that most on this board
possess. Most are schooled, traveled abroad, exposed to many
cultures and have had more trials in life than a simple 19 year old
such as yourself.

Some have fought in wars, some have lost jobs, had kids, lost their
parents and loved ones, seen the rise and fall of our economy and
have felt their faith in government dwindle to what you see today.

And then you.. a 19 year old know it all, Judge of the stupid start
posting about how you don't get it. So therefore, everyone else must
be crazy, suffer mental illness or is retarded. Wake up kid.

Absolutely the best idea and form of protest I've heard lately.

It would be cool that whoever visits the White House in person brings a pair of shoes to fling on the front lawn. Eventually I'm sure even the MSM will cover that!

I hope the Bush's keep EVERY pair of old rotten shoes sent to them and stash them under the beds, in drawers, in the refrigerator, and every other nook and cranny. Give it about a month to "ferment" so the OBAMA's can enjoy the smell when they move in to the White House January 20, 2009!

LOL you know very little about me. I do believe in individual liberalism as long as it doesn't break anyone's arm but, think the nation should have a tight grip on the purse strings. I would send to every person in Congress, Every State Politician but, I don't have 1000's of shoes. Democraps and Repugnant Cons both deserve anger from the people. Unfortunately I only have 6 pairs to share.

Also you have no idea how much I help the needy so your half attempt at a cheap shot remark means nothing. I would put my volunteer efforts up to yours any day, heck they might even exceed yours by a long shot. Throw it out there, you might be embarrassed.
