True, but oddly, it looks like they had enough damage to report damage.
CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — A weak earthquake shook parts of the South Carolina coast, tipping over people's Christmas trees, knocking pictures off
walls and causing minor injuries.

According to iReport, South Carolina experienced an earthquake this morning December 16, 2008. In the article, "Earthquake in Summerville, SC," it
is reported the earthquake was introduced by a loud boom.

A sonic boom is capable of producing an earthquake that will rattle things off the walls, about this size too. We used to have minor earthquakes all
the time on the windward side of Oahu that turned out to be F-4 Phantoms going supersonic less than 200 miles offshore.

Jebus Christo, I just pasted the damn story, why do half-wits feel the need to attack me, I then followed up with a question. Isnt that what this site
is about? Nothing like attacking the messanger. Why would anyone want to post anything here after that kind of treatment?
Do I deserve to be lambasted over posting something about an earthquake, grow the hell up already. Most of you need to check yourselves, why would you
attack me for posting a frickin fact...screw all of you and the donkey you rode in on.
Nice community you have here mods, seems like its filled with really nice people or should I say a-holes.

3.6 Quake
Reports just coming in... A little old lady reports ripples on the surface of her cup of green tea
Can you even feel a 3.6? A heavy truck driving past would be worse I think.

No you have every right to fight back without a doubt but their is bette ways to do it than what you did like for example showing a little bit more
respect would be a good start and also maybe quit the sily name calling because you dont look smart atall it actually has the opposite effect intirely

Its just that we are more used to them. We fear them, but find it silly how every one east of us treats it diffrent.
I have been through 2 memorable earthquakes myself.
Pasadena Earthquake

Northridge Earthquake

And then countless little ones.
