Some more food for thought this holiday season...
i stumbled upon this very thought provoking thread,
posted yesterday on the ATS side, titled:
A Letter from a Palestinian Muslim to Santa
Hits home another common trait... "both fly over arabs"
and just for the record, in my book, jews are arabs too.

Santa and God have very similar tenants but the scale of their impressions on people and the details of their lives are very different. The main difference being the purpose of each of their existences.

Santa 's purpose is to bring presents to good kids and bring coal to bad kids, punishing the wicked and rewrading the good.

God's purpose is to bring salvation to good people and eternal damnation to bad people, punishing wicked and rewarding good.

Actually.... yeah I'm starting to see your point while i type this....

I see no problem with the above qoute. What a loving father should do.

AE

would you rather God say..

" Ok you raped, were a cerial killer, cheated, lied, had phony love, but no wait, Im gonna let you in my house forever with real people "

no.

God doesn't say it like that.

God said in the bible that hell is seperation, seperation must happen between good and bad

If you have a house and let robbers live withyou it becomes hell.

if God said

" Do what you want, ill let you in, yea Im uncle tom, I dont care if your evil "

God has to spereate good from evil or the whole lot is destroyed.

But how about those who weren't serial killers or rapists or thieves, just common people who don't believe in God? Hows abouts me..? I think its wrong for God or anyone to separate everybody in the world into literally black and white. i think we all know that the world is just different shades of gray..
