I totally forgot about that scene. There was a recent thread asking what our favorite Christmas movies were and I said A Christmas Story. Need to go find it on DVD.

Too funny and I had to share this:

I was at my parent's house yesterday looking at their Christmas tree. They had a string of Christmas lights on it that caught my attention. They were modeled after the A Christmas Story lamp.

I asked my husband to take a picture of it with his camera phone but he forgot. Just did a Google Image search and was able to find them so everyone could see what I am talking about.

Tacky but hysterical! They really light up just like regular Christmas lights. My mother told me she got them as a gag gift and couldn't help but use them as a joke. Each lamp is about 2 inches high:
