Codex Gigas

Right now there is a show on the National Geographic Channel called 'The Devil's Bible-Codex Gigas.' It seems that the Codex Gigas was completed sometime between 1229 AD and 1295 AD, and was written by Benedictine Monks in what is now Bohemia, which is a part of the Czech Republic. I am wondering if anyone here at ATS has heard of this before and if they can tell me more about it than what the NATGEO Channel can with the show they have on from 8-9 pm today.

Thanks for the post to my thread. I got a lot from the articles you informed me about. I appreciate it.

You can also look at high res images of each page on this site if you're interested. It's nice for looking at the detail (you can zoom in on the devil picture, for example). But it won't help you study the content unless you can read Latin.
