The shoe thrower is a hero to me although I have no doubt that he's in a special cell in Gitmo or eastern Europe.Let's hope to God,Allah and Buddha
he's alright.

I will say this, the haji that threw his sandals has got to have stones the size of bowling balls. NO matter what your opinion of bush, he is a
pretty powerful guy.

He should be given a medal for trying to harm the president of the united states? What would you say if it were obarry up there, exacute the shoe
thrower?
The vitriol you have for this president is unlike any other in all of our history, you people are so brain washed to think of him as evil. He was
forced to take action against a country that was attacking our planes on a daily basis and kept trying to instal SAM sites on their borders. I am
talking about Iraq.
I still find it funny that we have found so much crap against husseins regime such as 2 chemical warfare biolab trucks burried under 30ft of sand and
when inspected, they were found to contain absolutely nothing. Why is that important? They found no dust, no microbes or bacteria at all, these
trucklabs were too clean, they were found to have built-in bleaching systems to remove all traces life. Why were they burried and too clean on the
inside?

Funny you say that, if Saddam were in power and the guy threw his shoe at him he would be killed on the spot or have his feet hacked off.
You Bush bashers have never seen Bush for whom he really is, you just see what you have been told to see. Bush doesnt speak eliquently, he does look
like a chimp, but he respects the office and the people of this country, he has never spoken down to anyone unlike most liberals like obama.
Bush does not laude himself everyday in front of the press, in fact he evades the press because he knows they are all against him. Very rarely have I
seen Bush defend himself against any charge, He feels he doesnt need to play into the media's hand. That pisses the media off and that started this
whole Bush hate from the begining.

Say whatever you will about Bush, but he can dodge a shoe. He always looks dumb, like a shoe would just bounce off his head and he'd hardly notice.
But that was surprising, like when you startle a tarantula, you have no idea they can move so fast, lol.

That is too funny! I have to say in all honestly, this whole incident has been the most amusing thing to happen in ages. I can't remember the last
time I laughed this much.

The guy should have been tackled after that first throw and he managed to get BOTH airborne.
It's as if the secret service wanted to see Bush get hit
You have to give Bush credit for the ninja reflexes though

Then obviously you have never thrown shoes. They are aerodynamically impossible.
And yes I am speaking from experience.

All I gotta say is, that Iraqi shoemaker is now gonna make millions.
Might even be able to sell some here in the US.
I will agree that GW has some pretty good reflexes.
Did he play sports at any point?

I think the reporter is probably a bit miffed that the US decided to 'liberate' his country into the dark ages without even being asked by the
people of Iraq. I'm pretty sure you'd throw a bit more than a shoe if Iraq had invaded the US to remove Bush from office, on your behalf, causing a
power vacuum that killed hundreds of thousands of civilians in the process, and got you kidnapped along the way.
People are reporting this because it shows there is deep resentment in Iraq for what the US did. US troops were always going to be leaving Iraq soon
- the Iraqi government and people have said repeatedly that they don't want foreign troops on their soil (who the *snip* would?). Deep enough
resentment for a journalist (who was kidnapped thanks to Bush's invasion) to attack the self-proclaimed "Leader of the Free World".
Put down your Republican partisanship for a second and try to look at this like a rational human being. If you think this is a smaller story than the
signing of an agreement that has been destined to be signed for months - a purely bureaucratic process - you're blind.

LOL? Oh no, Iraq wanted surface to air missiles? and why should they not have them? Why were American planes in range to be shot at in the
first place. If an Iraqi plane flew over the united states what do you think would happen to it? I get so angry at the utter hypocrisy that comes
out of some Americans on these boards. If you want to play the game, don't start crying when the other side starts playing using your own hardware
and tactics.

What makes you think its going to be closed down? I didn't hear the great and powerful Barack Obama make any promises on that.

Awe come on now... don't you guys get it? This was a setup... The SS was told to stand down...
Bush is secretly a comedian. I bet he has contracts lined up in Vegas
I mean when was the last time we had a president that made us laugh so hard?
This guy could win any crowd in Vegas with his act... and look at the great impersonations he does..
Funny George Bush Moments
This guy is great... and the 'Olde Soft Shoe" is just his way of 'Exiting Stage Left' making sure he is remembered as a comedian
...
