What I don't get is why Gaza wouldn't declare it's own Independence from all these other countries and set up their own system in such a way that it would benefit both them and the bordering countries.

If Egypt has a problem with sudden inflation due to them coming in then why not allow only certain members to purchase food and bring it back to Gaza. These same people could be considered transporters.

Then allow those who want to sell their goods in Gaza to gain access right on the edge of the boarder to set up and sell goods. But at the same time warn them if they have problems they are on their own. Then Gaza could set up security teams to protect these folks who want to sell their goods along the edge. Any security member caught taking advantage of the merchants will be shot on sight, until a court system can be established and criminals tried and convicted if they are guilty.

Am I missing something here?

When it comes down to it they are their own worst enemy in this case. Do these people have some type of system in place that is being suppressed or are they just running rampant under the old adage "looking out for myself"

I see a lot of possibilities and potential on their part but I don't see any one trying to use this potential to gain a political high ground to ease their suffering. Are they that stupid? Or what am I missing here?

This is simply crazy. The world stands by and watches our fellow humans suffer???
This is so dissapointing to see, and the country of Israel should be embarrased after all they been through to allow this to happen!!

Give them food, Give them dignity and maybe they wont be so hateful to the the jewish state. Lets all say a prayer for these poor souls. For me it makes it harder every day we get nearer to Xmas to even think about a festive meal when I know stuff like this is going on.

I'd suggest a private food help fund to load a ship filled with food and MSM reporters from all over the world and ship into Gaza. See what the Israelis are gonna do then.

That's a pipe dream. The Palestinian children are taught in school that Jews are apes and pigs. Yes - exactly that - apes and pigs. That they aren't even human. And as far as giving them dignity - the Palestinians are the ones that have lowered themselves to the value of animals by their behavior. If they'd behave in a civilized fashion then they'd earn some respect.

If the Jews to gave 'food and dignity' it would do no good. The Palestinians were given land that they had no right to and still they hate the Jews. Israel is under no obligation to supply the freaks who attack them with food. If Gaza isn't getting food in, then it's their own damn fault. They have continually attacked Israel so Israel naturally doesn't want to help them. And they behave so poorly that Egypt and the other middle eastern countries don't want any part of them.
