Detroit's Big Three automakers have staked their last, best hopes for an industry-saving lifeline on President George W. Bush, and the White House has signaled they can expect a decision as soon as Monday.
Chrysler and GM warn of imminent collapse without government help.

"The White House has indicated that it will step up and use the authority that they have had all along," Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., told ABC News.

I really hope this gets passed. I can't believe that the President will actually make a decision on this. Where was this leadership before? When did the President ever show that he can make decisions? Maybe we all misunderstood Bush?

I can't believe we're trusting someone who we let mislead us into the Iraq war with the fate of the auto industry. IMO even as someone who doesn't take religion seriously I think we are truly coming closer and closer to the apocalypse.
