I thought Survivoman was canceled?
have you seen his "Off the grid" video?
very interesting!
Found it on a torrent site

Lol...so making fire with potatoes is above top secret? Niccce.
Haha not complaining or anything, I find this really cool, but on the wrong site XD.
|

1. Do everything on the video except lighting the fire
2. Touch your tongue to the 2 wires.
3. ???
4. PROFIT!
|
That is AWSOME! Get enough of these potatoes and you can power stuff.
The question is....for how long?

Exactly.
Its like 'ninja technology', you could have it all right there in front of everyone and noone would know it...
"whats that dude doing?"
"i dont know, trippin out i guess"
5 minutes later...
Easily one of the coolest things i have ever seen/learned.
Seen this post earlier, went and did it, came back.
I would like to see and learn more of these...

cool. great video. i want to know who sits around and thinks up this crazy stuff.

Aint Chemistry Cool?
This is just another reason why science is one of those necessities of the true survivalist.
Its funny to think that the people that will be literally roughing it successfully when tshtf will likely be made up of some of the smartest people in
the world.
Just think, you need knowledge of hunting, tracking, entomology, chemistry, mathematics, construction, tailoring, geology, topography, ecology,
horticulture, martial arts, weaponology, and more. It is insane the knowledge needed to survive in a world gone mad, but know this, the more you
learn the more prepared you will be.

Besides being a nice gimmick, it's really quite redundant.
Since this is in the survival section I assume maybe you could use this to start a fire if you don't have matches.
So you don't have matches or a lighter but you do have a potato, salt, toothpaste, wires and toothpicks??
yeah that makes sense...

from what somebody said any type of fruit may work although maybe not
You never know where or what will be around you when you may need fire and dont have matches. I think its highly possible to find those items and not
find a match.

Iv been camping a few times with mates and as always we remember the beer...but nothing to light a fire with lol.
Next time im going to be the hero of the camping trip......or at least warm

MEH !
I call BS on this - these `improvised` batteries do produce a voltage - but its < 1 volt and just a few micro amps , certainly not enogh to ignite a
tinder
or for that matter power a cell phone - or fulfill any of the other claims made in other ` wonder videoes `

That sort of reminded me of the Anarchist Cookbook. Very cool, thanks for posting.

Neat...
But remember: when you're cutting the 'tato open, cut _away_ from yourself, not towards.
